Chapter 39: The Mirakuru War Begins

Night Time

After Oliver and the others left, Ben had time to catch up more with his Sara. "You seem distracted by something Ben, what is it?" She asked him. Ben sighed "I just have this feeling that things will go horribly wrong with this whole thing" He told her and leaned back onto the couch. She hugged his side and smiled "We will succeed, Slade will not take over this city or get his revenge on Oliver" she said and looked into his eyes with a bigger smile. Ben sighed more "I-It's something else that is bothering me" 

Suddenly, a large explosion rocked the foundation of his house. Ben narrowed his eye's and turned the news on. "Starling is under attack and Moria Queen has been kidnapped from her prison cell, just day's before her next cou..." Ben shut the tv off and stood up "You ready White Canary?" He asked her. Sara stood and nodded. Ben grabbed her hand and ran into his lab, he stepped inside his Iron Spider suit when they entered. Ben looked up and a section opened on his ceiling.

Ben grabbed Sara and flew into the air. "Hang on" he told her. She nodded and braced herself as her and Ben rocketed toward Starling City. Once they arrived, Ben landed on the ground and let go of her. "Did you bring the cure?" She asked. Ben nodded "I had Karen fill my blasters with the cure, so one blast from these badys should cure them right up" he said and shot a man running toward them. He hit the ground and was knocked out. Sara smikred "Neat, I'll be staying close to you then. Also, I don't want to run into my family if they are out and about".

Ben nodded and began to blast each big guy that came after them. "Well let's go save some more people, there shouldn't be alot lot of them. I destroyed the sample just yesterday morning" he said. She nodded "I want to know what is brothing you first" She said with a stern voice. Ben nodded and sighed "I'm afraid that you'll leave me, it's stupid but I've been in some shitty relationship's and I just don't want to be led on again" he told her honestly.

Sara widened her eye's "I-I see, then I'll be the best girlfriend that you have ever had. I did tell you that I loved you didn't I?" She asked him. Ben nodded "Ya you did, but I'm turning into Peter more and more everyday. That kid is in his feelings more then Earth 616 Nyssa was" Sara chuckled at this "After the Undertaking, she came by to see me everyday. I think she loved you more then she loved me, she would cry her eye's out each time your name was brought up" Ben sighed at this.

"I wish I could go tell her I'm sorry for what I did, I regret leaving her in the hotel room more and more each day. I guess I've grown attached to this worlds Nyssa, she gets me I suppose" He said and blasted another Mirakuru user. "We can talk more later about old love, we have some people to save" He said and grabbed onto her a he flew off into the air ... A half hour later, Oliver grit his teeth as shot another arrow at one of Slade's men. "This is getting annoying" he said. Ben Reilly leanded next to him the second he said that "Sorry were late" Ben told him. "Its fine, I heard over my intercoms that you and Sara were saving people from the local news broadcast".
