The eclipse was the last night that Korivachi's life would be as normal as he would ever live it. He was a silhouette in the night time, riding his shadow black horse. Incidently he was the silhouette murderer. His coal black hair danced in the wind as he rode ever faster. His cloak fluttered in the wind like a crows wings. He was clad in a suit of padded leather and was armed with a steel dagger and an iron broad sword. As he rode he thought about his newest mission. Kill Lord of Rajerana, King Cylon. He knew the bounty was plentiful and that he would secure himself an early retirement. As well as complete his personal vendetta.

...

In the Castle Princess Saradasi, the ravishing princess, looked out her windows at the night sky. It was nothing, but another day which her father, King Cylon, tried to force her to marry a suitor from another kingdom. She paces down the hall in disgust. As she entered the ballroom she quickly glanced at the suitors. Although some came to her liking she would rather die than to give her father the satisfaction of knowing he could arrange a wedding for her.

"Father," she called. "If you do want to get me a suitor, please do not bring me such buffoons."

"Daughter of mine. It has been 5 years now and you refuse to marry. These are some of the finest men of the nearby kingdoms. Now at least talk to them. And don't try my temper." Cylon declared.

lthough Saradasi had her own idea. She left the suitors and headed towards her room. She knew her father had an idea for her 22nd birthday tomorrow. A gala for her suitors. Once she entered her room she prayed to her goddess. "Goddess of mine. I am full of hope that you'll find me a man who I find worthy. Someone that is not about politics and kingdom relations. Please deliver me away from that." She quickly clad herself in a black cloak and, out her window, she headed out to the town.

...

Korivachi rode into the nearest Tavern and inn and booked himself a room. Tomorrow would be his chance to strike down King Cylon. He went down and bought himself a drink and planned himself a strategy to infiltrate the castle. He thought it funny how as a child he longed to be a knight, but now he is a mercyless mercenary. Mainly because of what the king had done to him. The king is twisted and cruel. He watched as he noticed men and woman alike wearing an amulet like his, A raven brawling with an eagle. But those people are not knights. He also noticed they were copper instead of his golden amulet. He went to the nearest woman and asked about the amulet.

"Hello may I inquire you about those amulets. I recently came into town and noticed several people bearing them." Korivachi asked the woman in black.

"I mustn't tell you foreigner. The king doesn't want people to go nor do I. Especially not suitors for the princess." She whispered.

"I don't want to court her. I'm just curious. Anyways I have a golden amulet of the same kind," Korivachi voiced.

She sighed, "It's the princess' birthday and her father wants a large gala to find a suitor for her."

Korivachi spoke with interest, "That's fun isn't it. Now would the king be present?"

She glanced at him, "Yes of course. Now may I inquire how you have a golden amulet?" Korivachi ran his fingers through his hair and then took another drink. He looked up and shook his head. He got and walked away. He stopped in his tracks to the girl following him. He left the building and instead of heading back to the inn he wandered. As he realized the girl had been following him the entire time. He slowly began running.

He thinks to himself, "I may have made a mistake in asking her." He ran into an alley and jumped into a short balcony. He drew his sword as he waited for the girl to show up and she in fact did. As she slowed down wondering where he went he jumped down and pointed his blade at her. "Who in the world are you? Tell me before I slice your neck and you perish."
