Unwanted - Danielle and Stefania ON HOLD

Danielle woke up that night around 3, Izzie not in bed with them. Danielle being half-awake assumed she was messing about to get her and stef in the same bed, she knew it was something she would do, but quickly realised something was wrong when she heard her in the bathroom. 

she left it a few minutes before getting up and finding her sitting against the wall of the bathroom on her phone, looking like she was dying 

"how long have you been here?" she asks sadly

"about an hour" she shrugs, "it happens every now and then, I'm fine"

"you've been sick?"

"only like 6 times but its settled for the minute so I'm not going to move and risk it starting again," she says tiredly, Maya sitting down on the floor with her 

"so this is your life, huh?"

"yep," she sighs

"how do you feel?"

"I hurt, I feel incredibly sick, I'm dizzy, I'm tired, I ache, I have a headache, I just feel like death"

"I'm sorry, is there anything I can do?"

"no, you can go and sleep, there's no point in you being up, you've got to work tomorrow," Izzie says through a yawn

"if you think I'm going to leave you here, you are mistaken" she laughs slightly,

"I always deal with this alone, ill be fine"

"I know you will be, but you don't deserve to be left alone," Danielle says, moving to sit against the wall next to her, "I've told you this already but you're stuck with me now, whether you like it or not, that means I'm not leaving you throwing up all night and I'm not leaving you here alone tomorrow," she says, putting an arm around her, izzies head resting on her shoulder

"you're so nice, you know that right?" Izzie says randomly, Danielle's heart cracking right open, hearing her appreciate something someone should've been doing her whole life, "and stef, arent you glad you were alone in bed for like an hour?" she says, laughing slightly

"I'm not going to lie, I thought you left us intentionally, as a part of your master plan" Danielle laughs

"I'm glad I did it" Izzie smiles slightly, barely having the energy to keep her eyes open, let alone laugh

they sat there for hours, talking about everything until Izzie finally fell asleep at around 6:30, Stefania waking up and finding them

"shes not ok?" stef asks, seeing the state she's in

"she was throwing up all night, only just fell asleep" Dani sighs, "can you tell Shonda why we're not in"

"Yeah, of course, do you want me to bring you both anything?"

"no, it's fine, I'm just hoping she'll sleep for more than an hour or two"

"I know, Bella"

Izzie was only asleep for just over an hour, waking up at around 8, throwing up again

"Why am I throwing up, I haven't eaten anything" she groans 

"I don't know iz, are you hot?" she asks, feeling her forehead

"for the minute I am but in 10 seconds ill be cold again"

"oh, look what I have, it's a fan but it changes between hot and cold air in like 5 seconds," she says putting it down on the floor

"I love you so much right now," Izzie says when Danielle turns it on, getting a laugh out of Danielle
