Chapter 45

"Henry!" I hear Scarlet and Chloe yell from behind me. I turn my head and see Scarlet and Chloe running to me, Chloe is holding a paper in her hand that said 'Winter prom next Friday 10:00pm-11:30pm' and Scarlet was holding her books. When they finally got up to me I closed my locker and looked at them.

"What?" I ask harshly. Scarlet looks at me worried, before she starts talking.

"Annabel has a date to the prom." Scarlet says as Chloe nods.

"Let me guess it's Mortikiy." I say and they nod at the same time. "You do know that their dating right?" I ask and Chloe gasped.

After Math with Annabel, Mortikiy quickly pulled me over to the side while Annabel was reading a prom poster and talking with Scarlet. Mortikiy told me that Annabel and him were dating.

It broke my heart. . .a lot. It felt like I just took a shot to my head. I felt my eyes watering, but I blinked the tears away before Mortikiy saw.

"Stay away from Annabel, she's mine and I don't want you to hang out with her anymore, because she'll end up liking you more and I can't let that happen." Mortikiy says as I feel my insides get weak.

"You can't make me stop hanging out with Annabel no matter what you say. "

"She's my girlfriend and I'm taking her to prom! "Mortikiy yelled, but not so loud for the whole hallway could hear or Annabel.

"But that doesn't give you the right to say that I can't spend time with her. Annabel will start to wonder why I'm avoiding her and she'll come to you for answers, but you'll lie to her. Plus in order to date Annabel you have to get her fathers approval, and trust me when I say it's going to be hard. "

"How do you know?"

"I'm friends with Annabel, of course I would meet her dad. In fact I'm good friends with Annabel's dad, so if you do anything and I mean anything to Annabel I will report you to Captain Man. And you don't want to be in a fight with him, trust me."

"Your friends with Captain Man?" He asked, surprised, raising his eye brows.

"Did you not just hear me? Yes, I am and he wouldn't like it if you were dating his daughter. "I say, crossing my arms and then, he said something that made my stomach drop.

"You know what? Tell Captain Man, I don't care what he says or does about it. Tell him that I will date his daughter if he likes it or not, I don't care what he says."

"Their what!" Scarlet rolls her eyes giving the look that says 'here it comes'. I screw my lips to the side as Chloe goes on and on about it. "When did this happen. I thought you and Annabel liked each other why would she go for Mortikiy if she likes you? Annabel and Henry could be a perfect couple-"

"Okay, Chloe. Go blow your anger out on Mortikiy if he didn't tell you any of this." I say and she nods turning around and yelling.

"Mortikiy! Where are you? You are so dead!" Scarlet and I roll our eyes as she looks back at me.

"I'm sorry about Chloe. This is why you can't tell her anything about love," Scarlet said waving her hands, "she goes crazy."

"It's okay." I reply faking a small smile.

"I thought Annabel liked you and you liked her." Scarlet says and I shrug lifting my shoulders up and then down.

"That's what I thought but right as I was about to ask her to the prom, Mortikiy comes out and talks to me. He told me that they were dating and that he was going to prom with her." I said. She nods coming closer to me and patting me on the back.
