Chapter 30

I was sitting in the back of the van with some random person sitting across from me. Wearing all black with a mask and as I looked around I seen that there was more than one person. One of them was driving then there were two more sitting in front of me. Four men just kidnapped me. But doesn't that sound like what Ray was saying? Something about four men after Annabel.

Maybe these four men are the ones after Annabel. Well I was going to ask but I can't because there is duck tape over my mouth. I watched as we turned a corner and I tried slipping my hand out of the ropes. I moved my feet around trying to break free again but failed. Then I heard the guy driving speak.

"One down two more to go," he said his voice deep, "we're going to make Ray wish he never did that." He added as my eyes widened. How does this person know who Ray is? Does he know that Ray is Captain Man?

"But whats the point in kidnapping one at a time?" The man asked that hand cuffed me.

"I already explained it all to you. First we kidnap his sidekick and hurt him then-" The man driving said but didn't finish because I started talking but my words just mumbled through the duck tape. How do they know that im his sidekick?

"We can't understand you. There's no point in trying to talk." The man facing me said as I looked around.

"Here if he trys to talk use this to make him quite." Someone from the front said giving him a gun. My eyes widened as he took the gun and looked at me.

"You mean shoot him." He asked and everyone yelled yeah at the same time.

"Now where was I? Oh yeah so after we hurt his sidekick were going to leave him there. But only so Ray can save him." The man said turning another corner.

"But what was the point in kidnapping him if Ray was just going to save him?"

"Cause I know Ray's weakness." He replied back as he pressed on the gas.

"And what's that?" The man in front of me asked making sure I didn't talk.

"He doesn't like it when the people that he loves get hurt," the man replied again, "and he will do anything and I mean anything to get them back. Cause thats just how Ray is. I want to watch Ray go through pain as his friends and family get hurt. One by one just like Bella. "He added and I tried getting out of the ropes.

These four men killed Bella! Thats it. There killing the people that Ray loves more than anything just to watch him go through pain. Which means that im next in line but whos next? Is it Annabel? And if so who's the other person there after? But why? All I have to do is just find out who is who and tell Ray.

"You know your pretty much telling his sidekick our plans." Someone mentioned.

"Who cares. As long as he doesn't find out who we really are then were okay. But if he does then we will kill him." Some one said as we entered a warehouse.

"Okay take the hand cuffs off and don't let him get away." Another person said as we stopped and I heard doors open and close. The man in front of me grabbed a key and took the hand cuff off. I instantly tried to get away but I was still tied up.

"Oh no you don't." He said grabbing my arm and pulling me close. He put his arm around my neck and scooted his body to the back door. The door slid open and three men were standing in front of me. They grabbed me and as they took me to a chair in the corner of the room. I heard the door close followed by the door we used to get in here. They put me in the chair and tied me up tightly.

Then they ripped off the duck tape as I let out a scream. My breathing turned heavier as they took a knife out.

"Call Ray." The man who took out the knife said. One of the men took out a phone and I heard bubble sounds from the phone. As he typed in Ray's number he handed the man in front of me the phone. The man put it on speaker and told me that if I talked they would kill me.

"Hello? Is this Ray Manchester?" The man asked looking over at me as he started spinning the knife in his hands. Not cutting himself at all.

"Uh yeah why who is this? "I heard Ray ask.

"Thats for you to figure out. But Ray im calling about your little sidekick, Kid Danger or should I say Henry Hart."

"Wait what happened? And how do you know who Kid Danger is?" Ray asked as the man came closer to me. I felt the end of the knife on my neck. But I didn't feel any blood dripping

"Lets just say you might want to come and save your sidekick. Before it ends up being his last day on earth."

"What do you mean?" Ray asked. *sighs*

"I kidnapped your sidekick thats what I mean duh."

"Where are you?" Ray asked as I heard his car engine start.

"The warehouse on 24th street." He replied back.

"Let me talk to Henry." Ray demanded.

"Oh you want to talk to Henry. Well im sorry to say that he can't be reached right now. But I'll leave you a message from him," the man said giving another guy the knife, "listen to this." He added.

"Now?" The guy with the knife asked as the guy with the phone nodded.

"Do it right now." The man said and I seen the man in front of me take the knife in his hand. I gulped and shook my head.

"No please don't." I begged as I felt the knife go through my stomach. I instantly screamed as blood comes out, tears streaming down my face as I heard the men laughing in the background.

" Ray!" I cried. The man took the knife out and I closed my eyes tightly.

" Im coming for you and your going to pay for this." I heard Ray say as the man laughted.

"Well that is if you can get us." He said as the three men jumped in the van. Taking the knife as the man finished talking to Ray.

" You might want to get here fast." Then he hung up and untied the ropes. I would have got up and ran but I was so weak. My legs and arms were hurting and I just got stabbed. I fell out of the chair and landed on the floor. I coughed as I watched the man stare at me before saying.

" Bye Henry Hart..." He walked away and got into the van. I heard the van start up and they drove away. I laid in my blood as blood came from my stomach. I put my hand on my stomach putting pressure on it. Tears slowly came down my cheeks as I took slow and deep breaths.

Ray must be on his way back home or was he even out of Swellview when the man called him?

What will everyone think when they find out that Kid Danger is dead. How will Ray and Annabel feel. Ray already has Annabel go worry about. And im just in his way. He shouldn't care for me. He has Annabel to care for and love. Im someone that Ray will do anything to get back. But why? Ray and I are just friends and we work together. I never knew that Ray would do anything to save me. Just like he would with Annabel. I never knew that Ray cares so much about me. Well I was dead wrong.

I stopped thinking to myself when I heard someone yell my name. I slowly turned my head to find Ray in his costume. Running toward me and getting on his knees. I felt Rays warm fingers gently wipe my tears away and slowly took my hand off my stomach. He slowly lifted my shirt half way and I heard Ray gasp. Once his hand touched my wound I winced in pain. His eyes were locked on my stomach as more blood came out.

"Ray." I said taking a deep breath. Ray quickly looked over at me as I closed my eyes. I felt two fingers on my neck and he sighed in relief. Ray carefully picked me up. And I slowly laid my head on Rays chest.

"Were going to the hospital. Henry im so sorry this happened. This is all my fault."Ray said as I felt him speed walking. I opened my eyes as Ray was running to the car.

This is it.

This is how its going to end for me. Dying in my bosses arms after getting kidnapped and stabbed.

Also dying in the one and only Captain Mans arms. But there's something I need to tell Ray.

Before I took my last few breaths I whispered to Ray.

"Tell Annabel that I love her."
