Chapter 17

"What time is it?" Ray asked looking at the clock which said 11:00am. Ray looked back at me and a smile formed on his face. "So what do you want to do today?" He asked as I uncovered the blanket from us letting it hit the ground. I shrugged as he sat up then got off the bed.

"Im going to take a shower first." I said and he nodded while walking out of the room. I got off my bed then went to my dresser and pulled out a white cat shirt with nerd glasses, jeans, bra, then underwear. I went to my bathroom then closed and locked the door. I started the water and got undress then jumped it the shower.

After I got done with my shower I got dressed and unlocked the door. Then blow dried my hair and pulled it into a high pony tail. Then put a flower clip in my hair and put a light pink eye shadow on. I walked out of my room and seen Ray standing in front of a table. I skipped over to Ray, jumping on his back. He stiffened up and I couldn't help, but giggle as I covered his eyes. He let out a relieved sigh and says.

"Well, I wonder who's on my back." I giggled a little more as he started walking when I uncovered his eyes. I wrapped my legs around his waist and then wrapped my arms around his neck then put my chin on his shoulder. He gave me a piggy back ride around the lair and I kept on giggling when he almost ran into a door.

We got into his room and he sat down on the bed and I unwrapped my legs from his waist. Then my arms and let my body lay down on his bed he got on his knees on the floor. I giggled as he started to tickle my feet. "Stop! Stop that tickles."

"What do you want to do today?" He asked me.

"I don't know." I said then he started tickling my feet again. I screamed and grabbed a pillow then threw it at him. It bounched off the top of his head and landed on the floor. He stopped again and got on his two feet.

"Want to go to a moive?" He asked and I nodded getting back up. When he got into his mustang Ray's phone vibrated in his pocket. He pulled the phone out of his pocket, pressing the answer button. "Hello?" He put the phone on speaker as he set the phone down between us. Suddenly we could hear a faint voice talking into the phone but couldn't understand a word this person is saying.

"Could you talk a little louder." I said.

"Hello? Anyone there?" Ray asked when the light turned green and Ray pressed on the gas. Still no one answered so I just grabbed the phone while saying.

"Ok since you aren't going to talk then, bye bye." I said waving while hanging up the phone.

"Annabel!" Ray yelled at me keeping his eyes locked on the road.

"What?"

"You can't just hang up." Ray said.

"They weren't talking and we gave them enough time to speak."

"That doesn't mean-" Ray started but got cut off by his phone ringing again from the same person last time. I pressed answer then put them on speaker as Ray turned a corner.

"Hello?" Ray asked.

"I'm coming for your daughter Captain Man, keep that promise to Bella."

Someone. . .is after me?

I was terrified, it felt like someone had just punched me in the gut, my breathing was hitched as I heard the sound of my heart pounding against my chest.

~~Rays pov~~

This can't be happening.

Who ever this is knows about Bella. Suddenly a flashback rolls into my mind and I felt my eyes start to tear up.

"So, how's my favorite girl?" I mumble in Bella's hair and the blush that she's been hiding, releases and I smile. I continue to whisper random things into her ear. "Before you came along, I was living life all wrong, I love you and I wouldn't dream of going no where."

She turns her body around to meet my blue eyes. "I wouldn't go anywhere either."

"I'm glad." I grin and she pokes me in my chest.

"I got you a present." I grin as she get sup and grabs the box, putting it in my lap. I take the sticker off and puts it on her nose and she giggles, causing me to grin. I open the box and lets out a gasp, surprised.

 I quickly set the box down on the bed, tugging her into a hug and whispering. "I love you." She hugs back, squeezing me and mumbling in my shoulder. "I love you too." When we release from the hug I get up and walk over to the mini fridge. I bend down and pulls out two forks from the box on top of the fridge, cutting it into two pieces. When she walks over to me I have two pieces of the cupcake split in half and the forks stabbed into the pieces. She grabs one of the pieces as I grab one too and we stare at each other.

"Thank you." I whisper as I push my piece of the cupcake to her mouth, and she pushes the piece she's holding to my mouth. We both open our mouths, taking a bite out of our pieces that we switched and setting the forks down on the counter. I cup her face into my hands as I peck her lips and take her hand into mine, slowly spinning her around in circles as we finish our cupcake.
