Chapter 43

~◆~Annabel's pov~◆~

"Okay, Annabel have a good day I'll be here to pick you up after school." Ray says as I open the car door and get out. I close the door and start walking to the school doors, and walk through the hallways. When I get to my locker I open it, pulling my backpack off my shoulders and throwing it in the locker.

I smile when I hear Mortikiy's voice coming closer to me. I pull out my Social Studies folder and my reading book. I grab my pencils when I hear Mortikiy's voice from behind me saying.

"Hey Annabel." I turn around after pulling out my Social Studies text book.

"Hey." I say smiling.

"Can I walk you to class?" Mortikiy asked holding out his hand. I smile as I grab my notebook and close my locker, taking Mortikiy's hand.

I look around for Ashley but don't see her anywhere in the hallways. She hasn't come to school since the break up that happened with Mortikiy and her.

She must be planning her revenge on me.

Mortikiy and I get into Social Studies and the first thing we hear is Chloe saying.

"Oh my gosh you two look so cute with each other." She says as Mortikiy chuckles, letting go of my hand and sitting down in his seat. I roll my eyes and sit down next to Chloe and Mortikiy.

We pull out our packets and start working on it before the bell even rings. I could feel Chloe's eyes burning into me when I start working on the last page of the packet.

"Are you two dating?" Chloe blurted out with a hint of curious in her tone. Mortikiy looks up at me, eye brow raised as I look up and shaking my head.

"Sorry, Chloe but I already like someone a lot and I know he likes me too." I conform, screwing my lips to the side when she gasped excitedly.

"Oh my gosh! Annabel you have a little crush. Who is it? Is it Kid Danger?" Chloe squeals as the bell rings. I feel my eyes widen as Mortikiy glares at her.

Crush? Crush! This isn't just a tiny 'crush'. I actually love Henry, it's not just a small crush.

"It will be like this Captain Man would be like "you can't have a crush on Kid Danger", " Chloe says making her voice go deep when ever she acts like Ray, "and then you'll be like "but dad! I can't help it." Then Kid Danger over heard and he comes out, picks you up bride style and you two run away with each other. Done. This cute couple is complete, "she says slamming her hands against the table and continuing, "Annager will be the ship name for Kid Danger and Annabel. It's official and I'm sure Kid Danger would like that." She wiggles her eye brows as I blush.

"Oh, check that out Annabel is blushing." Chloe says poking my face and giggling. I slap her hand and she laughs. "Annabel loves Kid Danger, Annabel loves Kid Danger, Annabel loves Kid Danger, Annabel loves Kid Danger. . . ."

"Okay, Chloe that's enough. I think you've tortured Annabel long enough, "Mortikiy says pulling me into a side hug. I smile and class starts. About time!

The whole class period, I kept my head down ever since what Chloe said earlier. It was really embarrassing since everyone was listening and she was just talking and talking and talking. Some times Chloe can not keep that little mouth closed.

When lunch came around, Mortikiy bought me another lunch even though I told him that he doesn't have to do that. We got to our lunch table, Scarlet and Chloe were there but Ashley wasn't. We sit down and Scarlet and Chloe giggle while Mortikiy leans over to me and whispers in my ear.

"Don't mind Chloe. She's. . . . . well always like this, but you'll get use to it." I let out a small giggle and blush when I feel his breath on my ear. Stop blushing!

"Hey look at that," Scarlet says, "looks like someone likes Mortikiy."

"I don't like Mortikiy." I lie looking down at my food and cutting up the carrots on my plate.

Oh why did I get myself into all of this?

"She likes Kid Danger." Chloe says giggling as I roll my eyes.

"Or course she does Chloe, "Scarlet says, "I mean she probably see's him every single day since her dad is Captain Man." I look at Scarlet as Chloe nods stuffing her face full of green beans. A few minutes later Chloe and Scarlet start to fan girl about Kid Danger and I.

I sigh, slightly annoyed and continue eating watching for Ashley. She said that I was going to pay for everything, even though I didn't do anything to make them break up. It's Ashley's fault and she knows it.

"Annabel are you okay?" I hear Mortikiy ask and I quickly nod, poking my straw through the juice box.

"I'm fine just worried about things." I answer throwing my hands in the air.

"Ashley?" Mortikiy says and I jump in my chair.

"Where?" I ask, panicking as I look around the lunch room.

"Annabel calm down. She's not here right now I was just asking if it was Ashley you are worrying about." Mortikiy laughs.

Oh yeah, I'm worried about getting killed or hurt by a crazy teenage girl who wants revenge on me, because she thinks I'm the reason you broke up with her!

Of course I'm going to get worried!

"Hey who's that?" Chloe asked pointing over to the entrance of the school.

I slowly glanced over at the entrance of the school, hearing the doors of the school close when my eyes met up with his chocolate brown eyes.

Henry?
