Chapter 5 - Reaching 5

Kyoya POV

I was currently in my room being dressed by my mom. The occasion, today is my 5th birthday, that's why. And in account to that, a big birthday party is being held for it. Many devils will be attending the party, I also heard my parents say that those of other races will be here as well. There are a lot of other races in the underworld besides us devils. There are the fallen angels, grim reapers – yeah, they're a race – who serve Hades, and the Greek God of death Thanatos is also a grim reaper, dwarfs, dragons, dark elves, monsters etc.

An interesting fact to note was that the area controlled by the devils is not actually all of the underworld. The underworld is very large, and many of the lands is roamed by monsters and such. Well all of that aside, my mother just finished dressing me as I looked at myself. I was wearing a green suit for nobles, and I dare say, I look freaking good. The suit has a good feel to it and it isn't that tight so I am able to move freely.

My mom on the other hand was freaking beautiful, I couldn't describe how beautiful she looks. She was wearing a light green dress which went well with her green hair and man she looks beautiful. My little brother Kakeru was also dressed in a cute green baby dress as he was smiling at me and clapping his hands on a maids hands. I smiled at him and looked at mom. "How do I look?" I asked as I showed myself to her as she looked at him. "You look very good dear. You look just like your father." I smiled when I heard what my mother had said.

My training has also bore fruit, my power reserves seems to have increased as I am now able to keep on using spells for 4 hours straight, of course, the amount of power I use also matters. I also learned what clan my mother is from, she is from the Kimaris clan of devils, a 72 pillar. Unfortunately, it seems that I wasn't able to inherit the "Power Over Darkness" from her, but my little brother got it. Our parents powers have been divided between us. I have the "Power Over Forests" while Kakeru has the "Power Over Darkness" power.

Then suddenly the door to this room opened and Jeremiah then entered the room and bowed to us as we looked at him. "My lady, it's time for young master to go to the party." Jeremiah informed us as much mother nodded to him. Mom then took Kakeru from the maid and then grabbed my left hand in hers as she smiled at me. "Why don't we go? You can't be late for your own party." I nodded to her with a grin as she smiled and started to walk. Jeremiah was also following us as he was following us.

After walking for sometime we reached the door to the party hall as I slowly composed myself as I got ready.  "Are you ready?" I heard my mom ask me as I looked at her with a smile. "Yeah." I replied as she nodded and then looked at Jeremiah and nodded at him as he returned it. He signalled to the servant at the door and the servant slowly opened the door. I looked as the door opened slowly as I looked at the occupants. The first person to be in my vision was my father as he was in the front, after which the rest of my family.

Uncle Theodore was dressed in a dark green noble suit whilst aunt Almeria was dressed in a light blue dress. Haruhiko was also present as he was dressed in a dark green suit like his father.
