Moving on and moving out

*5 years later! Elliot and jasmine are in their early to mid 20's and are now sharing a place with carlos. They were all close as ever and there was nothing they wouldn't do to help each other out. You are probably wondering how jasmine copes with living in a house full of boys when she has such severe anxiety because of the dave situation. Well luckily she learned how to deal with it and it doesn't happen nearly as much as it used. After she found out that Dave had passed while he was locked up in jail, that kind of gave her some peace of mind and she got some strength back knowing that she wouldn't have to run into him ever again. Elliot being the amazing big brother he is to jasmine, he was so patient with her and did whatever he could so that she could learn to trust him again. Now they are back to being inseparable just like when they were kids*

*also because of jasmines past experiences with school, she decided not to go to college or anything. Luckily she always had such good grades so she didn't feel bad at all when she decided to focus on making money from selling her art. She also does a little bit of dancing as a hobby on the weekend just to keep herself fit and healthy.*

*carlos on the other hand, did go to college and he has now got a job as a therapist. He has always wanted to help people so he had no doubt about  sending in an application to the place that is about a half hour from where he lives. They were very impressed by his application that they hired him that same week*

*as for Elliot, he was surprisingly keen on moving out despite all of his high maintenance issues with his health condition. He was able to manage everything pretty much on his own but he still had jasmine and Carlos help him out, especially when its time to take his medication. There is so many different ones he needs to take throughout each day so jasmine decided to buy him some sorter trays. so Elliot knows what to take and what part of the day he needs to take them at*

*Even though Elliot is legally and adult and has moved out of anna and grace's house, jasmine had a chat with Elliot and he asked jasmine if she was ok to get legal guardianship of him. just to make everything a little easier for Elliot when it came to making appointments, signing important letters or dealing with money and any of Elliot's medical bills. Jasmine does all that for him now and its working out great.*

*it was currently a Saturday and while Carlos was out working, Jasmine was doing her work at home today so she can keep an eye on Elliot.*

Elliot: *was laying on the couch watching tv and trying to relax as much as possible but it wasn't working out well in his favour because his rib pain was starting to attack his insides making him agitated* JAZZY... *shouted through to her because he knows that she will be in her art room down the hall*

Jasmine: *was in the middle of a painting when she heard Elliot calling. She quickly washed her hands then went through to see if Elliot was ok* hey big bro! You doing alright? *was stood by the couch and sees elliot holding his stomach*

Elliot: my rib pain has started again so could you get me some painkillers before it gets any worse please? *was holding onto his stomach as he tries not to take his frustration out on jasmine by giving her a bitchy attitude*

Jasmine: *smiles sympathetically at her brother* yeah, sure! *walks off and goes to get Elliot's hot water bottle from his bed so she can heat that up for him as well. Then she gets a glass of water and some of the strongest pain killers they have for him* ...here you go! I got your hot water bottle as well just in case the painkillers don't work as much. *hands everything to Elliot*

Elliot: thanks jazzy! *smiles up at jasmine as he holds onto everything. He puts the hot water bottle on his stomach before he takes his pills*

Jasmine: no problem! *looks at the time on her phone and sees that its almost lunchtime* I've just got a little more painting to do then ill come and make a start on lunch for us. *smiles*

Elliot: sounds good! *smiles then goes back to watching his program while jasmine disappears back into her art room*

*a little over an hour later! It's 1:20pm and jasmine just got finished with her art. She got everything tidied up and put her finished painting off to the side so it can dry.*

Jasmine: *walked through to the living room to see what Elliot was wanting for lunch. She walked over to the couch and saw that Elliot was fast asleep. She knew that his rib pain had probably tired him out but she does want to leave him sleeping too long otherwise he'd be up all night* El... *shakes his shoulder lightly so she doesn't hurt him more than what he's dealing with already*

Elliot: *started to stir then looked over at jasmine as he yawns and stretches slightly* hey! Sorry for falling asleep but i just needed to get away from the pain otherwise i would have started throwing stuff. *laughs as he explained how bad of a mood his pain puts him in sometimes*

Jasmine: its ok! Id gladly let you sleep and escape from all that crap but i just don't want you loosing sleep tonight, especially if it gets worse later on. *smiles sympathetically*

Elliot: yeah! Thanks for looking out for me sis... you're the best! *smiles adoringly at his little sister*

Jasmine: *sassily flicks her hair as if she is letting the praise go to her head* you're too kind! *laughs as does Elliot*

Elliot: you're such a goof! *laughs as he playfully shakes his head*

Jasmine: i know you are but what am i?! *playfully jokes just to make Elliot laugh*

Elliot: *loves that jasmine goes out her way to make him laugh and distract him from the pain he is feeling in that moment* my point exactly! *he laughs as jasmine playfully shoves him then walks of to make lunch for the 2 of them*
