*The next day jasmine was up bright and early. She had to answer a bunch of emails, making sure she took note of all the people wanting her to do a painting for them and taking note of who or what they want a painting of.*

Jasmine: *just finished answering to what felt like the millionth client, when she saw Carlos come out of his room and sleepily dragged himself over to the couch to sit next to jasmine. He rested his head on her shoulder* morning sunshine! *smiles down at Carlos as he sleepily smiles back*

Carlos: *was lost in thought as he admires how cute jasmine looked even though she just woke us and hasn't made any effort to get herself ready for the day like she usually would* you sure are! *smiles dopily as jasmine giggles and ducks her head down to try and hide her blushing face*

Jasmine: *cant believe that such a simple comment from Carlos could have her stomach exploding with butterflies* you're such a charmer! *smiles as she leans over to give Carlos a kiss on the head*

Carlos: *smiled up at jasmine as he tries to wrap his mind around the fact that he is finally together with the girl of his dreams* nothing but the best for you, my sweet! *kissed jasmines neck then put his arm over jasmines stomach to rest it there as they sit in the silence for a little while*

Elliot: *was up about 10 minutes later! He went to the bathroom to do what he needs to do then he wheels himself out to the living room to see that his best friend and his sister are both cuddled up on the couch* wow... one night and you lovebirds are already joined at the hip! ... how delightful! *laughs at his sarcastic tone because he is genuinely so pleased at how comfortable the young couple are with one another already*

Jasmine: *laughs at her brother because he's not very good at trying to sound like he is discussed when he has a big smile of adoration on his face moments later* you know you could start dating again too! ...Haven't you heard from that waitress from the restaurant that we took grandma too the other day? *smirks at the confusion on Elliots face because she knows that Elliot has no idea what she's talking about*

Elliot: *took a second to think back to that night and it doesn't take long for him to connect the dots* so thats what grandma was hiding from me... I can't believe she gave my number away without telling me! *acts fake hurt*

Carlos: *laughs at his best friend being dramatic like having someone crushing on him is such a bad thing* quit acting like an idiot and just go message the girl. ask her out for coffee or something! *wasn't being pushy he just wants to see Elliot happy and with a girl that knows how to treat him right*

Elliot: *had his doubts about talking to a new girl but he tries to push that aside and focus on the positives it can bring* ok fine, I'm going! *wheels himself back to his room leaving the lovebirds to have some alone time*

Jasmine: *had repositioned herself so she is the one resting on Carlos' chest and has one arm resting over his stomach as he held her close* speaking of my grandma, are you gonna have a chat with her about you and i or would you like me to do it? *was hoping Carlos will do the talking because jasmine is to anxious about what her grandma might say and since she is still sensitive from yesterdays meltdown, she knows she wont be able to handle any shouting or arguing*

Carlos: *can see that jasmine is nervous about the situation ad is already thinking the worst so of course he doesn't hesitate to step up* don't worry about it! Ive got it all under control... *smiles at jasmine as he brushes his fingers through her hair and sees her visibly relax, smiling back at him*

Jasmine: *rests her head back on his chest and sighs with contentment* you're so good to me! *for obvious reasons, she is still trying to wrap her head around the fact that her and Carlos are actually dating. Carlos is being such a gentlemen and is not giving her any reasons not to trust that he will keep her safe and happy*

Carlos: you deserve it jazzy! I wont every let you forget that! *continues to brush his fingers through her hair as they just enjoy each other's embrace*

*a couple of hours later! The 3 of them have just finished lunch. Elliot had been chatting back and forth with the waitress girl so he was quick to disappear back into his room to continue talking with her as soon as he finished his food. Meanwhile Carlos was sat across from jasmine and he just watched as she started to play with her food as if she was lost in thought*

Carlos: *knew what was going through her mind so he was quick to reach over and take jasmines hand and rub the back of it in a comforting motion* I'm gonna go give Snixx a call so we can get it out of the way... *sees jasmine look up and smile weakly at him* would you like to be there to talk to her as well or do you just want me to sort it out?

Jasmine: *thought about her options for a moment and realised how much she really doesn't wanna deal with it incase her worst fears become reality* you go... I'm gonna go lay on the couch for a bit! *smiles weakly to Carlos then gets up and goes over to the couch. Her unicorn teddy was still there from the other night when Carlos brought it through to her so she just cuddled with that as she curled herself into a ball on the couch and rested her eyes*

*45 minutes later! Santana was done interrogating Carlos to make sure he was serious about being with jasmine and that he would protect her from all the assholes of the world*

Carlos: thank you so much san! I wont let down! *couldn't help but smile from ear to ear now that he has Santana's blessing to date her granddaughter*

Santana: yeh! You better not because we both know I'll kick your ass if you ever hurt her. *they both laugh at that because Santana is even more physically incapable of kicking ass like she used to. So it's not really a threat anymore*

Carlos: alright! I better go check on jasmine and tell her the good news so she can stop getting into her head and fearing the worst *was so worried about having left jasmine for the last hour while he spoke to Santana*

Santana: please do! Also tell her to give me a call later on when she has a minute.

Carlos: of course!

Santana: thanks! bye...

Carlos: bye!
