Taking chances

so many questions

*that afternoon, roxy was helping jasmine and giving her compliments on her art when jasmine started to doubt herself about some things. and they had a bit of a laugh, like there wasnt ever a problem before.*

*sadly jasmine still couldnt stop her mind from wondering and trying to figure out why roxy wasnt like this all morning. then carlos came to mind and even though she wasnt sure if she wanted to hear the answer to the question, jasmine just needs reassurance that her boyfriend hasnt said or done anything to threaten roxy.*

Roxy: *sees jasmine slow down and put her paintbrush down in the water* jj... is everything ok? *rubs jasmine back to comfort her*

Jasmine: *sighs and starts to fidget with her hands again, not making eye contact with roxy* im sorry... i know im being a pest! i just... *takes a deep breath as roxy continues to comfort her and give her time to say what she needs to say*

Roxy: you have nothing to apologize for! you could never be a pest! *takes hold of jasmines hand and draws lightly to keep jasmine calm* i dont know what they are saying to you but those goblins in your head are talking pish! *smiles as she hears jasmine giggle a little*

Jasmine: i dunno! i just feel like there is something you arent telling me. and i hate to think that i might loose your friendship because i didnt try harder to help you figure out what to do with whatever the problem is. *looks at roxy like a sad little puppy*

Roxy: *swallows the lump of guilt in her throat for the distress she has caused jasmine by being so distant* im sorry ive made you feel this way jasmine! ill do whatever i can to make it up to you, i swear! ...im just dealing with some personal stuff that i wanna try to figure out a little more so i can be sure that i know what im talking about. i just need a little more time! ok? *looks at jasmine*

Jasmine: ok! i understand! just let me know when you are ready. *smiles as roxy smiles back. Roxy pulls jasmine in for a quick hug then they both go back to working on jasmines painting. roxy was very close to having her own stuff finished so she wasnt worried that she'd be behind schedual for helping jasmine.*

*its now 5pm, which means they need to make a start on getting all cleaned up and tidy everything away for the night*

Jasmine: *was stood by her car while roxy stood infront of her on the path* promise me you will give me a call if you need to chat about anthing. *looks over at roxy*

Roxy: i promise! *smiles at jasmine*

Jasmine: *smiles back* awesome! See you tomorrow! *gets in her car and waves at roxy before driving off*
