Out in the open

Carlos: *walks into the living room and sees jasmine curled up on the couch not even attempting to put the tv on* hey... come here! *tries not to make it obvious that his heart is beating twice as fast while he pulls jasmine close so she can cuddle into his side*

*Jasmine was a little tense because part of her brain doesn't wanna trust Carlos since he is also a guy and she just hasn't had any luck with his kind. But the other voice in her head is trying to remind her that Elliot and Carlos wouldn't dare to hurt her on purpose. And even if they did something to upset her in any way then they immediately apologise and prove how sorry they all by changed behaviour, unlike the other male figures that have harmed her in some way in the past*

Carlos: its ok! You're safe now... I'm not gonna hurt you! *can feel that jasmine is still so tense so he brushes his fingers through her hair with one hand then with the other, he has a hold of her hands and lightly drags his thumb over the back of them so she doesn't shake so much*

Elliot: *wheels back into the living room with a bowl of popcorn in his lap and 3 bottles of water. Before he gets the others attention he just takes a moment to take in the sight of how peaceful his sister is compared to a few minutes ago. He knows that he will have nothing to worry about if Carlos does end up telling jasmine how he feels and they start to date. No need for the expected big protective brother speech he obviously had prepared for a moment like that* Here you go! *hands the water bottles out then puts the bowl of popcorn on the Coffee table so he can get himself situated on the other side of the couch next to jasmine*

Carlos: so... what do you feel like watching today? *looks down at jasmine as she kinda lifts her head enough to look at Carlos*

Jasmine: *thinks of a comedy she loves* how about ace Ventura? *smiles because Jim Carey is her favourite comedic actor*

Carlos: i love it... Elliot? *looks over to check that Eliot is ok with the choice*

Elliot: i love it! *smiles as Carlos smiles back then plays the movie before cuddling up to jasmine*

*from the start to the finish, all 3 of them were laughing like crazy*

Jasmine: *wipes the tears from her eyes, luckily it was from all the laughter this time* that never gets old! *smiles at Carlos as he smiles back and stares a little too long* ...what?

Carlos: *was blushing like crazy because he had been all over the place from hearing jasmine laugh and now being put on the spot has made his heart go crazy again* n-nothing! *clears his throat and tries to look anywhere else because he is so nervous to talk about his feelings* ...actually! I Do have something id like to talk to you about. *smiles nervously as jasmine just smiles and nods her head for him to continue* well the thing is... *takes a deep breath again because he didn't realise it was gonna be so hard for him to talk about his feelings like this*

Jasmine: *was worried because she has never seen Carlos so nervous. She reaches out and takes hold of his hand to comfort him* its ok, just take your time! *smiles sweetly as Carlos smiles back and relaxes a little*

Carlos: *looks at Elliot as sees him give a nod to basically tell Carlos that its gonna be ok. Whatever the outcome is for them all* jazzy... *puts al his attention on jasmine* I like you! ...like, more than friends! *nervously bites his lip as he tries to keep eye contact with jasmine as she processes what she has been told*

Jasmine: *had no idea what to say because her head was going through all the pros and cons of them actually dating. Then again, she has also had a crush on Carlos for most of her teen years so she really does want to see if they work out* i- i like you too! *smiles from ear to ear as does Carlos*

Carlos: *cant believe what he is hearing* really? Wha- how long? *wonders how long he has let himself worry for no reason*

Jasmine: id say it was when i started high school and the 3 of us started to hang out and get close just before you 2 graduated. *smiles and blushes a little because she still cant believe that she is actually telling Carlos all of this right now*

Carlos: *smiles because he is genuinely so happy and has a little hope that he might actually get to date jasmine* wow! That's a long time! *cant believe jasmine kept this to herself all these years*

Jasmine: it is, yeah! *giggles because she is so happy that her feelings are finally out in the open. She just hopes that this wont mess things up between Elliot and Carlos*

Carlos: *knows that he should take it slow because of how jasmine feels about the male species but he is just too happy right now that he wants to know where they're gonna go from here* so... *gets lost in jasmines eyes*

Jasmine: so... *gets lost in Carlos' eyes also*

Elliot: *watched the whole thing unfold and couldn't help but smile proudly that his 2 most important people were one step closer to being together and getting close so they can help support each other in a way they Elliot knows can only happen between 2 people that are dating* geez... stop undressing each other with your eyes and just kiss already! *totally wasn't bothered to be a third wheel right now because he can see how happy the 2 of them are*

Jasmine: *blushes and giggles nervously as she looks round at Elliot then back at Carlos to see him blushing just as much* ...so, does this mean we are gonna be together now and see how things go, or... *smiles as she completely forgets all about her doubts and anxieties*

Carlos: *smiles at jasmine* if thats what you want then, yeah! Id love too!

*Jasmine wastes no more time and just launches herself at Carlos and hugs him with the biggest smile on her face. Carlos also has a massive grin on his face as he holds jasmine close.*

Elliot: *smiles at Carlos and gives him 2 thumbs up. then he gets his phone out and snaps a pic of the happy couple, only to remember whether or not Carlos spoke to Santana and gave her a heads up about how he felt towards her one and only granddaughter* wait, does my grandma know? *looks at Carlos as he lets go of the hug and lets jasmine cuddle into him with her head on his shoulder *

Carlos: *totally forgot to talk with san before doing this so his face instantly pales at the thought of Santana loosing her shit and never letting him go near jasmine ever again* ...i completely forgot!

Jasmine: *giggles at the look on Carlos' face as if he had just seen a ghost* don't worry about it! Ill talk to her and make sure she knows that there is no need for her to go full on Snixx and kick your ass. *they all laugh at that because its what they were all thinking*
