Taking chances

The wait is over

Carlos: *walks back through to the living room and goes over to the couch to see if jasmine was still there* jazzy... *sits down on the edge of the couch as tucks a piece of jasmines hair behind her ear as he smiles down at her. she was laying there with her eyes closed and her unicorn teddy tucked under her chin*

Jasmine: *wasn't actually sleeping so she opened her eyes soon after Carlos said her name* h-how did it g-go? *was still so tense from her nerves*

Carlos: *couldn't help the massive grin that took over his face* i know this may be hard to believe... but the woman is so chill and is very happy for us! *couldn't stop from smiling even if he wanted to*

Jasmine: *takes a very relieved exhale as she jumps into Carlos' arms with a massive smile on her face* are you serious?! O.M.G! I cant believe this is actually real life right now!

Carlos: i know! Isn't it awesome?! *giggles at jasmines state of shock. They both smile at one another and easily get lost in each other's eyes again* so... how would you feel about going out for a little celebratory lunch? *smiles at jasmine*

Jasmine: *smiles at Carlos* id love that! *kisses Carlos on the cheek then gets up from the couch as does Carlos* whats the dress code gonna be for this one? *looks at Carlos*

Carlos: *looks at jasmine* anything is fine! Im confident that you'll look perfect no matter what you choose. *smiles as jasmine blushes and smiles back*

Jasmine: alright! Im gonna go freshen up real quick and ill see you back here in 20 minutes max! *turns to walk down the hall but turns her head as soon as she heard Carlos laugh a little* what? ...

Carlos: *smiles at jasmine and shakes his head* nothing... just you trying to convince yourself that you can get ready in anything less that 30 minutes *laughs again as jasmine rolls her eyes and turns back round to go into her room. Once jasmine disappears into her room, Carlos goes to his so he can also get himself ready and book a table at the restaurant he wants to take jasmine too*

*45 minutes later! Carlos had been patiently waiting in the living room for jasmine to make an appearance after she told him that she was almost done. No surprise to Carlos but that was 15 minutes ago and Carlos was still sat on the couch chatting and having a laugh with Elliot about how much of a handful females are*

Carlos: *looks down the hall in the direction of jasmine's room to see if she was out yet. When he saw that the door was still closed over, he turns back to Elliot and they both just smile at each other* speaking of girlfriends... hows it going with your waitress lady? *smiles as if he is wanting to wind Elliot up*

Elliot: its going alright! We have been talking and we have both agreed to meet up for lunch this weekend coming. *cant help but smile at the thought of finally getting to talk with the girl in person. Not just to give her his order like he did that night she was working and he was with jasmine and his grandma*

Carlos: thats great! Im so happy for you man! *gives him a supportive pat on the back*

Elliot: thanks! Im actually really excited to see how it goes. Maybe her and i can actually become the real deal some day! *smiles*

Carlos: I'm sure you will! *smiles back*

Jasmine: *was well aware that she was behind schedule but she just couldn't stop her anxieties get to her and make her rethink every clothing item she had tried on. She just wants things to be perfect because this her first relationship ever and she would hate herself if she did anything to screw it up* go ahead... say you told me so! *was now stood next to the couch where Carlos was*

Carlos: *laughs a little as does jasmine* its ok jazzy...We've got time! *wasn't actually bothered that jasmine took as long as she did. he knows that he needs to be patient with her even at the smallest of things that he wouldn't think twice about. He understands that jasmine needs time because this is her first everything, with a dude so he expects nothing less than for her nerves to be trying to eat her alive. Lucky for jasmine, No matter what happens Carlos is going to do everything he can to help her feel safe and comfortable even if he has to change plans last minute a hundred times over*

Jasmine: *smiles and feels so grateful that Carlos is so understanding and gentle with her when she needs it most* alright... we should be back in a few hours! Are you sure you are ok to be here alone? *looks at Elliot with the same worry she always does when she leaves him to fend for himself.*

Elliot: *laughs a little and playfully shakes his head at jasmine not being able to leave him without fearing the worst*well... i was actually thinking to have a massive party and invite all the ladies i can possibly find from the street! *smiles not so innocently as Carlos gave him a high-five and jasmine smacked him on the arm with a big pout on her face to show just how mad she is that Elliot always tries to mess with her like that* ouch! *rubbed the part of his arm that jasmine hit as he smiles at jasmine, trying to get her not to stay mad at him*

Jasmine: *should have known that Elliot would do something like that. She just can't help that she always fears the worst because of how the outside world really isn't the nicest place. Especially for physically handicap people like Elliot* ...at least try to behave! Ill even bring you back a treat from the restaurant if you're good. *laughs a little as she bends down to give Elliot a quick hug goodbye*

Elliot: *laughs at jasmine always acting like the older protective sister, even though she is 6 years younger than him* ay ay Captain! *does a little salute to make everyone laugh*

Carlos: *just stood by jasmine and admired how her and Elliot interacted and acted like true siblings would* see ya later weirdo! *did a little handshake with Elliot like they always do. He then followed jasmine out their flat and held hands as he helped her get situated in the passenger before he went and got in the drivers side*
