Another hurdle to get over

*dinner time came and went smoothly enough! Carlos only caught himself staring at jasmine once or twice whenever she would laugh at the movie they were watching. jasmine didn't suspect anything though so Carlos wasn't too worried that he'd have an awkward encounter with the girl*

Jasmine: *gathered everyone's dinner dishes up and was about to head into the kitchen* would either of you boys like a top up? *looks over her shoulder at the boys and sees them both shake their head* ...alright! *continues towards the kitchen to get herself a drink*

Elliot: *saw how Carlos a deep breath of relief and relaxes his shoulders as soon as jasmine is out of view* you good bro? *smiles as he watches Carlos blush a little and act kinda awkward*

Carlos: yeah! I just don't know what to do. I can't hide away forever! *sounds very torn up about whether he should act upon his feelings for jasmine or just try to get over her*

Elliot: i dunno... just follow your gut and see what happens! ...just make sure you ask my grandma for permission first because that woman is so overprotective of my sister after all the shit she has been through. Im sure if you explain yourself then she might give you a chance to prove yourself worthy. *smiles*

Carlos: thanks man! Ill give it a few more days to really think things through then ill see if i can get in touch san *smiles*

Elliot: awesome! ...good luck bro! *they both laughed because they knew they were both thinking that Elliot made his words sound like a threat but they know that he is rooting for Carlos because he likes seeing his bestie happy*

Jasmine: *walked out the kitchen just as the boys turned their focus back on the movie* i think I'm just gonna be in my room for the rest of the night. Im feeling very tired all of a sudden. *laughs at herself because she feels like she hasn't done enough in the day to make her that tired*

Elliot: *smiles at jasmine* alright sis! Night...

Carlos: sleep well jazzy! *smiles at jasmine*

Jasmine: night guys! *smiles at the boys then disappears into her room and goes for a quick shower to freshen up and get into her favourite silky smooth pj shorts and vest top*

*once jasmine was in bed, she was scrolling through her socials feed when a message request popped up. Since she rarely ever gets them she was obviously curious to see who it could be. It's no surprise that it was one of the last people on earth that she was wanting to hear from. Just seeing his name in her DM's made her sick to her stomach as she is hit with memories of the pain they caused her back in the day*

*after jasmine and santana said their good nights, jasmine put her phone onto charge then fell asleep pretty soon after her head hit the pillow*

*skip to 4 in the morning! Jasmine jerks awake in a sweat and is shaking and whimpering from a nightmare. She is too scared to open her eyes so she just stays curled up in bed mumbling to herself*

Elliot: *was right next door to jasmine and since he was a light sleeper, he heard jasmine in distress. Without even looking to see how early it was, he got himself into his wheelchair and wheeled straight into jasmines* shhh, its ok jazzy! It's just a dream! You're ok! *was right next to jasmines bed, trying to comfort her the best he can. He just held onto her hand trying to wake her up so she can see that she is safe in the comfort of her bed and not in the place she was dreaming of*

*Jasmine was still very much having a panic attack but she eventually managed to open her eyes and look up at Elliot. Without a second thought she through herself at him and they just stayed in place holding each other as Elliot was whispering in jasmines ear the way he does whenever she has a panic attack*
