30 - Jealousy

    'I think we should stop here' Yoongi suggested at some point when it started raining bad. Taehyung had given us all their little buttons.

It took a solid 10 minutes for my brother and his friends to adjust, to accept that they weren't getting wet because of some invisible shield. It wasn't surprising we needed to adjust to all these new technology and devices.

We all checked sections of the house.

I returned to the living room after clearing the kitchen. After not too long an energetic Taehyung came my way.

      'y/n, I think they have a music player here too' it was quite cute how enthusiastic he was as his eyes sparked with joy.

I immediately smiled as well,

In his enthusiasm Taehyung grabbed my wrist and started to lead me to a room but soon I was stopped as my other wrist was pulled by someone. 

It was Yoongi who steadily held me, and I awkwardly stood still in between the two of them.

      'Yoongi, hey taehyung wanted to show me a music player' I explained

       'I need your help with something'

He didn't specify with what exactly but his tone wasn't too nice.

      'Can't it wait? Come join us for some music. It's your biggest passion' I argued back

He let go of my hand and turned around without a word.

I didn't like how upset he seemed with me, he asked me rudely and then ignored me.

Taehyung pulled my wrist a little again and I followed him into some sort of study room. He pointed at the vinyl player in the corner

      'music' he said with smiling eyes. 

We walked towards it but soon my smile turned into a frown

Taehyung looked at me with big innocent eyes 'what's wrong?'

         'This is one that works on electricity, it doesn't work anymore'

         'oh that is a pity' Taehyung said and I nodded in agreement.

I was scrolling through the box of vinyl's. This person had a pretty good taste so it was even worse at this particular moment that we had no electricity.

I bet that a little bit of music could ease the tension between Taehyung and Yoongi, especially because they both were so passionate about music.

        'y/n, taehyung, come to the living room, we have a meeting' Jin shouted and we immediately moved. 

Everyone was either standing or sitting on the couch. I walked over to Yoongi and stood next to him, he gazed at me and I could see the corners of his lip go up a little. He moved even closer to me and slowly his hand touched mine, he kept slowly moving until my hand was lying in his.

      'So tomorrow we continue our way, there are two roads to take' Jin explained, he further elaborated on that explaining that one was going through a small village while the other was going through the woods.

       'I think we should take the way into the woods, it brings more cover' Taehyung suggested and some of us nodded in understanding. It made a lot of sense to search for cover instead of going to places where we most likely would find Others, or even other humans.

       'but if we take the village route we will know for sure we have a place to sleep and things to eat' Yoongi argued back. Again, some nodded because that argument was pretty valid as well.
