24 - Unbelievable

Again a silence fell. Everyone was very much focused on Taehyung as he was the leader and eventually had to decide about my fate.

He took a moment to look at his friends and sister.

      'I am going to help y/n get back to her group'

Everyone, including myself, stared wide-eyed at Taehyung. I, myself, had my mouth opened in shock as well, for the others I could not see it due to the masks.

He was going to help me get back to my group?

What about his own group?

     'You are not serious' Jungkook let out in indignation

Taehyung shook his head 'I am, we have the technology that alerts us when others are close, so we can safely hide y/n. plus it seems her group must be somewhat close. It is only a couple of days'

He explained it in a formal and calm manner but I could see Jungkook's body tense up

     'This is stupid, you will endanger yourself and us for her?

       'We kidnapped her from her group, she has nobody left except for them. I will not let her go by herself with Seung Cheol hunting her.'

        'She is a human, we are at war and she is the enemy!' Jungkook shouted angry while moving towards Taehyung

         'no she isn't anymore!' Taehyung shouted back also stepping closer to Jungkook

        'You are putting her before your own kind'

       'and that is my choice!'

       'if someone finds out you'll hang' Jungkook exclaimed

My stomach dropped as I heard the translation of what Jungkook said.

      'I will deal with the consequences' Taehyung replied

        'No' I said and they both turned to me

       'I will not let you do that, I will find my own way' I addressed Taehyung this time.

       'No, this is my final decision' Taehyung countered

       'I agree, we will help y/n' Zhora said to back her brother up

Jungkook shook his head 'Jimin what do you think?'

Jimin looked rather doubtful 'I don't think Taehyung or Zhora will let this go so I think we don't really have a choice, we can better focus on finding her group as soon as possible'

      'Unbelievable' Jungkook gritted through his teeth.

I wanted to protest but on the other hand, it was the best way to get back to Yoongi safely. Plus it seemed that it really wasn't possible to change Taehyung's mind about it. 

I was walking next to Zhora, a few meters behind the three boys.

       'I am sorry for leaving' I said in a low voice, I wanted to personally apologize to her. She had been the first other I connected with, and she had always been kind to me.

       'I will admit I am a little hurt you left like that. You are my friend, plus was it so bad to stay with us?'

Guilt filled me again, because in all honesty she also felt like a friend to me and I hurt her feelings.

       'I am sorry, it's not that... but I... I have someone in the group, someone I care for like you care for Jimin'

There was a surprise on her face, similar to that of Taehyung. In contrast to Taehyung however, she didn't turn sad, instead her eyes sparked with joy.

      'What is he like?' Zhora asked with a lot of interest. It was really nice actually, to have a friend who was a girl like this, it had been over three months since that horrible day and also the day I lost Yuna and ever since I had spent the days with guys. 

I smiled 'he is one of my brothers best friends, a bit like Jimin in your case I suppose'

Zhora's eyes also smiled

       'I guess we have the same type' she joked and I giggled

       'He seems cold to others but he isn't. He is so caring and so mature. He is funny too and he is amazing at music, which I really admire.' I said, 'He is also good at sword fighting, since this all started he became leader even though he didn't really want to, but because he knew he was the best for the role, also because of his fighting skills.'

      'You love him'

Zhora didn't pose it as a question but rather as a statement.

I wasn't sure in all honesty. Not because it wasn't true per se, but because I hadn't had a moment to think about it. Plus did I even know what love was really?

I did run off to distract the others to save him, and at the time saving yoongi was all I cared for

I also ran away by myself to find my way back to him

I thought about the moment he kissed me and how everything around me didn't matter anymore.

The way I was happy when I was resting my head on his chest.

if that wasn't love, what would you call it?

no, she was right. I did love him

      'I guess I do, yes' I smiled to myself. 

Before Zhora could ask anything else our conversation was interrupted

       'hey, there is a supermarket there. I think we will need supplies. I can go in, y/n maybe you want to join too as you know the food you like? Jimin Jungkook Zhora perhaps you can scan the area real quick?' Taehyung suggested

We all agreed to this plan and I and Taehyung silently walked into the supermarket. It was one of these huge stores not like a small 7/11 or something but a proper supermarket.

       'I'll see if I can find some crisps' I said to Taehyung who nodded 'I'll find us some noodles' he replied and like that we parted and walked into different alleys.

There wasn't much left of the crisps, I guess other humans had their go already. I quickly grabbed two bags and then I searched for Taehyung.

I saw him a bit further away in the corner checking out the different packages.

But soon I saw a shadow nearing Taehyung from behind. It was too dark in the corner plus I was a little far away to see clearly in the dark who it was.

Immediately I thought about Seung Cheol

       'Taehyung' I shouted and he quickly turned around and stopped the attack of the other person mid air with his own sword.

As I ran closer I could more clearly see the other person,

Yoongi 

He stared at me, his mouth dropped and so did his sword. This utter astonishment written all over his face

     'Yoongi?'

I was also astonished, as I, in no way, expected to run into him like this . I positioned myself in between the two, facing yoongi.

      'y/n, what are you doing?!'

It wasn't yoongi who spoke, it was a voice that belonged to someone I had known all my life, and my eyes widened as my brother, Jin and Hoseok appeared in front of me.
