32 - Soulmate

I walked next to Hoseok and I realized that he had been quiet the entire day

     'Hey are you alright?' I asked as I inspected his face to see if I could read any emotion on how he was feeling.

He sighed and shook his head lightly

     'I am worried about hueningkai, I know they are with five and they are strong but still it feels weird that I don't know where he is or whether he is okay.'

      'I am really sorry how everything turned out Hoseok' I said because I had known Hoseok to be a very caring and protective person.

He would always be there for his friends when they needed him, and the past months I also had seen how protective he was over his little brother. Not too strange considering it was his only family, similar to Namjoon and me.

      'I bet we will meet them in Jeju and they will have loads of stories to tell us' I gave a comforting smile to him.

Jimin turned his head as he was walking right in front of us.

      'Who is hueningkai?' 

We decided two days ago to keep our translation devices on by standard, it could always be turned off but I guess Hoseok didn't mind. I had turned off mine for this moment but Hoseok hadn't so he was okay with Jimin hearing it.

     'my brother, we were one big group but when y/n was taken Yoongi looked for her and I didn't want to leave him alone' Hoseok calmly explained to Jimin.

     'I am sorry' Jimin looked down apologetically and I knew it had a double meaning. He was sorry that Hoseok didn't have his brother near but he was also sorry for the fact that because they kidnapped me Hoseok had to make that choice.

      'I can only hope they won't meet any others and if they do they will be more like you' Hoseok said. I am not sure how to explain it but I suddenly felt hopeful. If Hoseok even felt this way maybe there was hope to convince both our kinds to come to some form of peace.

It was clear the words affected Jimin as well and he stopped walking and embraced Hoseok. 

I also stopped walking, surprised to what happened in front of my eyes. The rest also noticed we stopped and all eyed landed on the two boys embracing each other.

     'Thank you Hoseok' Jimin let out

They both let go and we all stared in silence.

In the corner of my eyes I saw that Namjoon and Jungkook ran our way, they had gone ahead to see if everything was safe. Already from the look on my brother's face I saw something was wrong.

      'A group of humans is close by, luckily they didn't see Jungkook but you all need to hide' Namjoon urged us.

      'How big is the group?' Jin asked alerted

        'not big, only 5, so we can maybe talk to them, see if they encountered Seung Cheols group in any way.'

Namjoon suggested, he was always thinking about these next moves.

        'y/n you go with them' Namjoon instructed as soon as Taehyung was gathering his group.

There was a house not too far away

      'We will hide there' I said, pointing in the distance.

        'okay'

I looked at The Others 'let's go, follow me'
