XI. Lips on Lips

GOLD pulled her styling luggage as she walked towards the dressing room where the actress she will be styling is staying in. Her work today is for a magazine photoshoot for the famous actress who recently won a best actress award for a primetime television series. The magazine photoshoot is a special feature for the actress and her award.

She knocked on the door and entered the dressing room. The actress is already wearing a full face makeup and a styled hair when she looked at Gold and smiled to greet her.

"Hello, Ms. Zamora!" masiglang bati nito saka tumayo para makipagbeso. "I finally got to meet you!"

"It is good to meet you too, Ms. Uy. You can just call me Gold."

The actress dismissed her. "You can just call me Mikaela! Don't be too formal with me. I really love your styling kaya excited ako na makatrabaho ka."

Mikaela thanked her then sat on her chair again. Gold opened her luggage and pulled out the long dresses and gowns she curated for her gig today. The brands vary from local fashion designers including her best friend Patch to high-end fashion designers. The colors are mostly of dark shades to complement the gold, shiny best actress trophy Mikaela received.

"Oh, those are so beautiful and elegant!" Mikaela cheered. "I like that design and color!"

The actress touched the long dress on the garment rack, the dress that Gold's best friend Patch has created.

"Would you like to try this? Let's see if it will suit the theme," she offered.

Masayang tumango ang aktres saka nagbihis para masuot ang long dress. Nang lumabas ito ay inalalayan ni Gold ang dalaga dahil sa laki at haba ng dress. Gold also zipped the back of the dress and fixed its train. The long dress in black with gold details has a balloon-like skirt and designed with a halter top.

"Oh, this is so beautiful! It fits well. I love it so much!" the actress exclaimed. "Can I wear this for the shoot? Please?"

"Sure, pwedeng pwede. Let's have you change your shoes too."

The actress has her own several pairs of shoes brought in the dressing room and Gold was tasked to pick the perfect pair that will match the dress. She picked a pair of Manolo Blahnik gold lace macramé pointed toe pumps. 'Yon agad ang nakakuha ng atensyon niya kaya 'yon din ang kanyang napili para sa dalaga.

Gold made the actress wear the pair of shoes then sat her down to set up Mikaela's accessories. Nilabas niya ang accessories and jewelry organizer na lagi niyang dala. These are authentic pieces of jewelry that she allows her clients to wear, but they are expected to return it to her after.

To finish the actress's look, Gold made her wear a pair of dangle drop gold earrings adorned with diamonds and three layers of pearl necklace. Pinagsuot niya rin ito ng mga simple rings sa mga daliri nito.

Gold cannot help but admire how her style looked after. Maging ang aktres nga ay tuwang tuwa rin dahil sa ginawa ni Gold.

A knock on the door interrupted them. "We'll start the photoshoot," wika ng manager ng aktres.

Tumayo naman ang aktres para lumabas ng dressing room at kasunod nito si Gold. She followed the actress to the studio and stayed behind the magazine staff. Bilang isang stylist, hindi pwedeng wala siya sa studio o sa location ng scene dahil lagi siyang nakaantabay kung kakailanganin ba ang pag-aasikaso niya o hindi.

Gold makes sure that she tends to her clients very well and give them a good, professional service. Dahil sa ganitong work ethic niya kaya rin siya tuluyang sumikat bilang isang celebrity stylist.
