Boss Lady #3: Gold's Impurity

X. Satellite Heart

"I'M already outside, Gold."

After a long day of work, Gold finally has the time to rest and relax. Working as a stylist is fun but it is definitely a tiring job too.

A week after her surprising encounter with Vaughn at the club, the two agreed for the dinner on a Friday where Vaughn will cook for her.

And that night has come.

"Okay, labas lang ako."

She ended the call with Vaughn. Gold did not bother dressing herself up to impress Vaughn because after all, she is still beautiful and sexy regardless of what she wears. Kaya ngayon ay nakasuot lang siya ng red silk camisole top at plain black shorts na typical na suot niya tuwing nasa bahay.

Gold went out and opened the main gate to allow Vaughn to park his car in her garage. Buti na lang nga at malawak ang garahe ng kanyang bahay kaya nagkasya roon ang sasakyan nito na isang Jeep, probably one of the many cars the architect himself owns.

Nang maisara na niya ang gate ay tinungo niya ang binata na nakababa na at may kinukuha sa likod ng sasakyan nito. When he closed the back door of his vehicle, Gold was surprised to see what he is holding.

"You bought groceries?" she asked, her arms suddenly crossed in front of her chest.

"Yes. I already learned my lesson last time I went here. I made sure to be prepared."

Gold shrugged in agreement then walked away towards the inside of her home with Vaughn trailing behind her. Dumeretso ang dalawa sa kusina saka binaba ng binata ang pinamili sa kitchen island.

"Anong lulutuin mo?" tanong ni Gold saka naupo sa bar stool. She is seated across Vaughn who is now taking out the food items he purchased.

"Beef Caldereta. Is that okay with you?"

She nodded and smiled. "I love that!"

Tipid na ngumiti ang binata saka nagsimulang mag-asikaso para sa lulutuin. Gold is just seated there, watching him move around her kitchen. Kabisado na nito ang kusina niya kahit isang beses lang itong napunta rito. Unang inasikaso nito ang paghugas ng karne at pagpapakulo nito gamit ang pressure cooker.

While the architect is facing away from her, she cannot help but rake her gaze all over Vaughn's backside. He is wearing a simple outfit—a white fitted shirt, cargo shorts, and a pair of Vans slip-on sneakers.

Gold grinned as she admired his ass. Hindi niya tuloy mapigilang maisip na pisilin 'yon kung magkaroon man siya ng pagkakataon.

"Stop looking at my ass, Gold," biglang saway sa kanya ng binata.

She giggled. "Guilty as charged. Your ass is cute. Ang tambok."

"Stop complimenting my ass please." Vaughn faced her and placed his hands on his hips. "Don't you have anything else to do?"

Gold shook her head. "I'm done with work. Nakauwi nga ako ng around 7pm na kasi kakauwi ko lang galing sa lock-in taping for a movie."

Two days after their marehan session last week was the resumption of the lock-in taping for the movie where Gold is the head stylist. It was truly a tiring work schedule but she definitely enjoyed it. Natuwa nga ang mga artistang nabihisan niya.

"Matulog ka nang maaga para makapahinga ka nang maayos," wika ng binata saka muling binalikan ang ginagawa nito.

After preparing the ingredients, Vaughn checked the meat he is boiling. It will take a shorter time to make sure the meat is tender since he used a pressure cooker, but Gold still wants to wait because she knows it's going to be worth it.
