XXVIII. A Beautiful Mess

"YES, baby?"

Gold is in the middle of styling a model for a photoshoot when Vaughn called her. Nakaipit tuloy ang phone niya sa pagitan ng kanyang tenga at balikat habang ang mga kamay niya ay inaayos ang suot na damit ng modelo.

"Are you free tonight?" tanong ng binata.

"Yeah, of course. Basta ikaw," pilya niyang sagot. Tumungo siya sa accessories set para pumili ng babagay sa suot ng model at sa tema ng shoot.

"Alright, I'll take you out on a dinner date, will that be okay?"

Gold hummed in agreement as she fixed the necklace around the model's necklace then said, "Definitely more than okay, baby. Is this a formal date? Should I wear something formal?"

"It's formal, yes. Just wear something beautiful, baby," sagot ni Vaughn na nagpangiti sa dalaga.

"Okay," she agreed.

"Oh, and make sure it's easy to remove off you," Vaughn added with a hint of naughtiness in his voice.

Gold cannot help but grin to herself. "Alright, I'll take note of that."

"Great. See you, baby. I love you."

"I love you too."

A huge smile is painted on her face as they ended the call and as she finished styling the model. It has been more than a week now since they confessed to each other and said their I love you's. Tila lalong mas naging masaya ang relasyon nila ni Vaughn dahil wala na silang tinatago sa isa't isa. Mas naging vocal na rin sila tungkol sa kanilang nararamdaman.

Gold cannot help but be thankful of their confrontation scene. Dahil doon ay nasa piling siya ni Vaughn at masaya siya roon. Masayang masaya siya dahil kay Vaughn.

As her day passed by, she looked forward to seeing Vaughn tonight. Kaya nang matapos na ang shoot niya, agad siyang nagmadali na magligpit ng mga gamit at umuwi sa mansion para makapag-ayos at handa.

Gold took a long shower as soon as she got home. She scrubbed herself well and made sure she smelled good for Vaughn. Kulang na lang nga'y ibuhos niya ang shower gel para sigurado siyang mabango siya.

For her outfit, Gold took some time to choose the perfect dress for the date. This is their official first date after confessing to each other so she wants everything to be beautiful and perfect. In the end, Gold settled with wearing a strapless fitted dress in rose gold and a pair of rose gold ankle strap heels from Jewel Badgley Mischka. She only applied little makeup on her face by applying concealer and powder, shading her eyebrows, and applying lip gloss.

Vaughn arrived outside the mansion at around five in the afternoon, just in time for Gold to finish preparing herself for their date. Lumabas na siya ng mansion dala ang phone, wallet, at house keys saka sinalubong ni Vaughn sa labas ng gate paglabas niya rito.

He immediately hugged her when she reached him and Gold hugged him back.

"I missed you, baby," bulong ni Vaughn habang nakasiksik ang mukha nito sa kanyang leeg.

"Miss agad? You slept here last night and we saw each other this morning!" Gold said. Lumayo naman ang binata para tignan siya at nakangiti ito.

"Yeah, it's hard to not be around you. Walang nangungulit sa akin pag nasa site or nasa office ako," he shared as he looked again at her outfit. "Ne kadar güzelsiniz, Gold."

Gold gave him a confused look. "What does that mean? Dati rin may sinabi ka na hindi ko maintindihan. Turkish ba 'yan?"

"Yes, Turkish. What I just said means you are so beautiful, Gold," Vaughn answered. "When I called you guzelim before, that means beautiful. And hayat seninle harika means life is wonderful with you."
