Chapter 6: Leave me alone

Location Park/Time 6:35pm

There stood Amity Blight infront of Luz. Aka her ex, that she didn't want to see at all.

Luz gave Amity a cold, angry glare. The glare didn't bother Amity at all. She was kinda use to Luz's glares. Amity felt bad for walking up to Luz, knowing Luz doesn't want to see her.

Both girls didn't know what to say to eachother. They haven't seen or talked to eachother in 2 months. So, they stayed silent.

Luz went back to the same position she was in before Amity came. Sitting on the swing, not moving, just staring down at her shoes. Even if Luz wanted to say something to Amity. She couldn't.

Her mouth stayed shut, her throat closing up. The girl's emotions were all over the place. She didn't know what she felt at the moment.

.....Angry, sad, fear, happy,....

Amity just awkwardly stood there. Waiting for luz to say something, But she knew Luz wasn't gonna talk. Luz was never the one to start a conversation or talk much to anyone.

Amity cleared her throat, Breaking the silence that was killing her. "So~ Umm.....I saw you sitting over here. By the look of it, you didn't have a cigarette or monster. And I could tell your nerves were high...So..I brought two monsters, a pack of cigs." Amity says feeling weird standing by Luz now.

Luz once again didn't move. Amity sat the one monster by her foot and sitting on the other swing next to Luz.

Luz swallows the lump in her throat and speaks up "Why...don't you leave me alone..." Luz mutters while Amity opens her monster. Amity take a big drink of her monster, wiping her face off after.

"Cuz...I know you don't want that.." Amity says crossing her legs. "You always say you want to be alone. But, really you don't. You want company...not just anyone...people you know...you love..make you feel safer. Just because we broke up...doesn't mean I forgot anything about you. I still know everything about you." Amity finishes, taking a another drink of her monster.

Luz wasn't even surprised that Amity knew that. The only people that knew everything about her was Amity, Eda, her mom.

Luz bents down to pick up the monster that Amity set by her foot. Strawberry mm.. Luz opens the can and takes a small sip. Amity looks over at Luz taking a sip of the monster she brought her. A small smile form on the green haired girl.

Luz wanted to ask Amity if she brought a cig. But, she was too mad and scared to ask her. Luz just continued to look down at her feet and take small sips of the strawberry monster in her hands.

Luz finds enough confidence to speak up "Look....I...We just finally started to talk to eachother in like...two months....I-I am confused and have alot of emotions going through my body at the...moment. So, I want to stay away from you for a little while...Until I figure out want I want...But, If you want we can talk tonight!...I'll probably just stay quiet..if that's okay with you!" Luz stammered out. Feeling scared of how Amity gonna react to this.

"It's okay...Luz....I know this is really weird between us now. Take as much time as you need...I'll wait...I'll probably ramble anyways. I know you're a quiet person...now...which it's okay..Just know you can talk, tell me anything that's on your mind.." Amity said looking at Luz eyes which made her sad because they were dark, cold. There usually sparkling, happy, like the sunrise of the sun on a perfect day.

Amity saw a really small smile appear on Luz's face "Thanks...Ami.." Luz mumbled. "Anytime...Lu.." Amity replied back.
