Chapter 22: Chaos At The Mall

Location: Boiling Isles Mall, Time: 12pm

Luz's Pov

The moment with Zander kept replaying in head for the last 20 minutes. I was currently sitting in the back of Hot Topic while Willow helped Kaleb with the store.

Gripping my hair as hard as I could trying to stop the scene play out in my head over and over again. Tears spilling, down my cheeks. The one thing that made me so mad was when Zander called Amity a slut.

She is not a slut. As much I hate her right now. I know she isn't. She only had 3 ex's in her entire life. Zander, Boscha, and me.

I mean she's not bad like me. I get called a playgirl in school cuz of how many ex's I have. I play so many girls and boys, I earned that title. Amity has more to do then sit around with a lover. She's a hard worker.

She rather work then date. She's almost got her whole school work caught up for the year. We still have five more months of school.

I sighed, messing up my hair. I got up and walked out to the front. "Everything okay Luz?" Willow asked with a sad look. I smiled "Yeah" I had to make sure the others believed me. So, they wouldn't ask questions.

"Well, Jax just took over, So we can go" Kaleb said jumping over the counter. Willow pumped a fist in the air, running out of the store. "Willow no running off!" Kaleb yelled running after her. I laughed, putting in a air pod and tried to catch up with them.

I haven't seen Zander in a couple of months. How could he know I was at Hot Topic. He wouldn't of known Kaleb was back in town since they hate eachother with a burning passion. I know Boscha wouldn't tell Kaleb anything. She hates him, even tho that's her brother.

Boscha only acts mean when she's around Zander because he makes her. Boscha, Amity and the twins go through so much at home. I feel bad. Really bad.

They never wanna go home. If they get a chance to hang with the gang. They immediately take it. Alot of times they stay at Lilith's house because she's so nice to them, like a mother they never had.

When everything was good between me and Amity. They used to stay weeks at my house. Edric still does, to hang out with Hunter but only when Edric is going to Lilith's.

I miss times like those. When there was no drama, no nothing. Just the world and my friends all in one place. Now I barely spend time with them.
It hurts.

I had them to help us cope with the world. The world crash down on all us so what's the point of running away from it now.

I watched as Kaleb tackled Willow to the ground, putting her in a headlock. "You son of a Bi-" Kaleb was quick to cover Willow's mouth with his hand. "Ay Ay Ay, watch the mouth Park. There's children around" Kaleb said, looking at a kid around 5 or 7 years old walking with their mother.

Willow glared at Kaleb not even bothering to look. Kaleb gave Willow a small smile while Willow just gave a growl in return.

I laughed, gaining their attentions. "You better put a leash and a collar on that pet of yours sir or we're gonna have problems." I said in a deep tone.

Willow gave me the deadliest look anyone could. She bite Kaleb's hand, making him uncover her mouth. She came runnin towards me, who booked it down the mall hallway.
