As per usual we didn't talk on the plane. Not after that.

He did end up falling asleep and I wanted to too but I didn't want to risk having a nightmare and waking him up in the process.

So I stayed up, thinking about a million things. Bucky. Tony. Everything Isaiah had told us. I felt like I had a massive headache.

As much as I hate to admit it he was right with everything he said. Things haven't changed. Not as much as they could and/or need to. However, I don't think it would be a wrong idea for Sam to be Cap. If he wanted to. Him along with the shield could become a new representation of hope for so many people.

And I think he knows that too.

We finally got there when it was morning and we got picked up by his sister.

As soon as she saw him she gave him a big hug.

She turned to look at me with a big smile.

"And who is this?" She asks as I stand behind him with one bag with my two other pairs of clothes I had already worn out. I made it necessary to Sam that I needed to buy some clothes and shower. Although I didn't get the time to shower before heading over here I did get new clothes quickly on our way and I was hoping to be able to shower and change into them when we got to his sisters place.

"Sarah, this is Jane."

"Hi, it's nice to meet you," I say with a smile.

"Jane? Well, it's about time I meet you. Sam talks so much about you," she says as Sam rolls his eyes.

I felt warm in my stomach at the thought that he talks about me.

At the same time, my cocky side is glad. I would be more shocked to hear he doesn't.

"Does he?" I say with a smirk at him.

"Alright let's get going I'm tired," he says dragging his bag along with him.

We both laugh.

"It's nice to meet you," I tell her more quietly as we head to her car.

"The feelings mutual," she says with a smile while wrapping an arm around me and hugging me once tightly before letting go as we got close to the car.

She took the driver's seat and as we drove to wherever she lived I almost laughed at Sam who was asleep and snoring.

It was a light snore nonetheless but it was very prominent.

"He hasn't slept much has he?" She asks with a smirk looking at him shaking her head.

"Uh- no not much. None of us have," I say with a chuckle knowing full well that he knocked out on the plane.

"Well don't worry, as soon as we get there you can take the longest nap you want."

"Please and thank you," I say as she smiles back at me through the viewfinder.

We didn't speak much, mostly because I was drifting off into sleep. I fought to stop myself and thankfully as I was at the door of a deep sleep I felt the car halt a bit harshly.

"We're here," she says with a wide smile looking at Sam.

His face looked twisted in annoyance.

"Oh- did I wake you?" She asks him as he glares at her.

We get out and I'm in awe at how beautiful the area they live in is.

There's a dock with a rather old boat and the view from afar just looks breathtaking.
