When I woke up he was thankfully asleep so we didn't speak much until he woke up but by then we were already there.

We grabbed our things and got off the train as Bucky followed behind me.

We took a bus that was about two miles from where the cabin is.

Bucky didn't talk much. He was just taking in his surroundings as we stood in the bus.

When we got to our stop, the bus driver halted and there wasn't space in the bus unfortunately when we got on so we were holding onto a pole. The stop was abrupt and I stepped back stepping on his shoe and basically falling into him as he gripped me by my waist with his metal arm making sure I didn't fall over.

I was facing him and we were pressed against each other. I can feel his heart beating a bit quick and his Adam's apple bobs as he swallows.

I hear the doors next to us creek open and I turn to see people watching us.

I clear my throat and step back.

"Sorry," I say turning and trying to hide my flushed expression now as I make my way out.

-

We got off and started walking for a bit in silence.

As we were getting closer, the farther we got to any shops or houses nearby.

I think he could tell I was getting tired carrying my bag because I felt it being taken from me as he carries it along with his suitcase.

"Thanks."

He just glances at me as I look away but he doesn't respond.

We walk a bit slower now and I wish we could just teleport there because this silence is killing me.

"What's your favorite thing about her?" He asks randomly as if reading my mind.

"What?" I turn to look at him as he looks at me softly with a smile.

"Your niece."

I didn't expect him to ask me something like that. I was caught off guard and I stood a bit quiet for a moment until I focused and thought about what's the thing I love most of my sweet Morgan.

It's hard to pick one.

It took me maybe a minute and I appreciated how he didn't rush me and I said the first thing I thought of when I think of what she does that makes me smile the most.

I smiled to myself before looking up at him who's looking at me with the warmest smile ever.

"Her smile," I said before looking down at my feet. "She has Tony's smile," I say looking ahead now continuing my walk.

I look ahead to the trees and I can see the brown cabin far ahead.

I turn and he had stopped looking at me with an expression I couldn't decipher.

"What are you doing? Come on! We're here!"

I start speed walking until we get there and I turn to see Bucky looking hesitant behind me a couple of feet away.

His calm expression gone and replaced with something worry-like.

"You okay?"

He finally locks eyes with me and pulls a smile before nodding and walking up with me.

We get to the door and I'm hesitant to knock at first but I go along with it after a second and stand there with clammy hands waiting for Pepper to open the door.

To my luck, the door swings open and I look down to see Morgan on the other side.

"Jane!"

I break into an into a wide smile.
