Chapter 22 The Plan

Ryan called Knox to ask him about the address of the place where Jhon lived while working for him.
" Ryan ?"
" Where did he live ? Jhon. Where did he live ? I want his address. "
" I knew you would ask me that, i have it ready. I am sending you a mail, since i can't be known. Lots of people are keeping an eye on me."
" Okay. you tell no one about this okay ?"
" Ofcourse, my lord ? Now will you introduce me to her ?"
" Who her ?"
" Your girl. I need to make friends with the girl that managed to take away your heart after Emma Williams."
" You do no take that name again. And no I am not going to introduce her to you."

Saying that he ended the call. He opened his mail on the computer and texted the address to Liam. It was of California, Los Angeles. Liam had to fly all the way from New York to California, from end to the other. It's going to br hard to convince Alexa.
" Man, you have to keep her busy in the work so, that me flying to other state won't affect her so much and she won't think about it much." Liam said as soon as he picked the call.
" yes, i will but what would you tell her when she asks that why are you going there ?"
" leave that to me, i will figure that out soon."
" okay." Ryan ended the call. All he could think is how to talk to Alexa about this, afterall as per knox he someday has to tell Alexa about Emma and if she finds out about her from Jhon then it will be all over. Jhon didn't know yet that Ryan was keeping Alexa away from him but as soon as he does he will try to make Alexa think against him which won't end well.
" Ryan ? " Alexa peeked in through the door.
" Yes."
" Umm... the agreement are checked i have underlined few clause which seemed against the company rules and as for the percentage of the investments with other companies i have circled it. Also, i have prepared a report of the company's profit and loss in last 3 months. I thought i could make it easier for you."
" Good. What about the reports ?"
" I was going to get started on it after this. But i thought i will give this agreements to you so you can check it. Also, today you have a appointment with Mr. Joseph regarding the contract."
" What else is on the list for today ?"
" Umm... After that you have 3 other appointments with Mr. Walker the lawyer, Mr. Davis, the accountant and last with Mr. Johnson, the manager of Moonlight Restaurant. "
" Okay. I have some some work for you. I want you to call Ms. Janice and Fix an appointment with her also if she says no connect her to me. And after you complete preparing reports i want you to go the sales department and prepare few ideas to increase the sale of our products by 5%. If you have checked the graph it is decreasing day by day. Check what's the problem if you have to talk with the customers then do so, i want the graphs to go up not down. " Ryan said authoritatively.
" Yes, Ryan i will look into it. Anything else ?"
" Yes, Send me at what time my appointments are lined up."
" Okay."
Ryan nodded and started to overview the agreements Alexa checked.He has no doubt that she was amazingly talented. She has perfectly checked the whole agreement line by line just like he want his assistant to do. She was no doubt by far the best assistant he ever had.

Alexa came back to her small office that were filled with files her and there, there was barely a space in the office to sit. she made a mental note to clean her office and make some room to breath and make it atleast presentable. She started to prepare the reports that were pending since 3 months. She was so frustrated because she has to make separate reports of each department of 3 months increase her work by 3 fold. what the hell was his previous assistant doing if not preparing this reports !! she thought.
After 3 hours she was still preparing reports and she became so agitated about it, all the notes provided to her were wrong, comparing it to the data entered in the computer, It was a complete mess, she was angry. She had to make everything herself, the notes provided were of no use. In the midst of her anger there came a knock on the door she looked up and tried to put on a best smile she could and politely asked.
" Yes, how may i help sir ?"
" I am Evan walker, i have an appointment with--"
" Of course Mr. Walker please folllow me. Please wait here while I inform Mr. Wesley about your arrival. "
" Sure."
Alexa knocked and went inside informing about Evan.
" Mr. Walker, Mr.Wesley is waiting for you please come in."
Evan walked inside thinking about the girl, she was good looking, He convinced himself that he will ask her out after his meeting with Ryan Wesley.
" Ryan, Long time no see."
" Evan, have a seat. Alexa if you would please order a coffee for him and black tea for me."
" Sure sir." Saying that Alexa left the office to the lunch area.
" So what is it ?"
" I want you to collect evidence against Jhon Taylor. "
" Jhon Taylor ? I thought he was your associate. "
" Not anymore. I want him in for his life, no bail. No way of getting out of the jail."
" Geez, what did he do to make you come to that decision, After all you could just finish him off in the fight."
" I can't kill him in a fight that's against the rules. "
" Since when did you started following the rules."
" Since, i have found a reason to."
" Hmm. facinating. I have a case on hand, it is of importance right now next hearing is in two weeks. I can't help you untill that."
" You can start collecting, is what i am asking. "
" I can't, you i can't be seen in public until the hearing the man i am dealing with is quiet dangerous. He is a criminal. Charged of 5 murders one after the other, on the same day. "
" Dealing with psychopaths now."
" Can't deny that. The court is trying to put the close to the case but you cannot do it in a clean daylight and not leave a trace behind."
" What do you mean ?" Ryan asked curiously.
" I mean, when a psychopath murder he leaves the body behind making a complete mess. This guy on the other hand is complete opposite to it. He got the mob and the cops running behind him. I don't know what he is upto but he is a killer on loose. I have to put him behind the bars or i don't know how many innocent lives are at stake."
" You mean the people he murdered had no connection to him ?"
" Nope. all from different parts of New York, two of the five victims are not connected to each other. He leaves his mark behind after cleaning everthing. That's most frustrating, that he is infornt of us and we can't do anything. "
" You said the mob is behind him, what do you mean ?"
" Ace knight, the mob don is finding him as well. He called me last night. Infact, after his call i found that 3 out of 5 were the members of his mob, they were at good position in the mob."
" why do you ask ?" Evan asked curiously.
" We talked last night. Ace, me and Roman. he wanted us to teach his men how to fight. He said a big war is coming and he need to be perpared."
" Do you think all these events and murders are connected ?"
" Let's pray it's not. For now let's talk to Ace again. This time all four if us sit together and talk."
" Sir ? your coffee.." Alexa said as she walked inside carring a coffee and a tea in her hands.
" Yeah so umm ... Ahemm about the file, i will have someone deliver it to your office and make sure you read it." Ryan said covering up their earlier conversation.
" Funny, seeing you Sutter for the first time. Is the girl important to you ?" Evan said after Alexa left.
" It's none of your business. And don't think about hitting on her."
" So, she is your girl. Good choice. she seems intelligent. " Evan said putting an emphasis on intelligent.
" whatever." Ryan said looking away.
