His Confession

chapter 33 Final showdown

Ace rounded the pillar and started heading ahead before his men. They all resisted for him to be in front and completely exposed to the enemies but he ran and hid behind the main door. He kept firing at the man's head. His men were struggling to hit the target due to camouflaged men ahead. Ace pushed the door with all his might and closed the door. He was glad his father urged him to make a metal door instead of wooden.As he closed the door, all his men got up ran to the second floor of the building. Ace stayed behind and called Ryan.

" Dude what the fuck is going on ?" Ace asked.
" I have no idea who is firing, i am in the opposite building with Roman i can't see shit. "
" I am trying to hit them but it is not helping. We have to go on foot." Ace said.
" Without weapons, you mean fight one on one ?"
" Yes, wait for my signal. afterwhich we will target each one individually. "
" Alright, you start from front and I will use the element of surprise from behind. "
" Okay." Ace ended the call and ran upstairs.
" How many down?"
" 5 "
" how many there ?"
" I count 20"
" Anyone else see more than 20 ?"
" Yess, i see 25 boss. "
" alright. Now listen to me carefully." Ace said as he fired the bullets while ducking behind the railing.
" i want few of you with me. we are going to attack head on."
" two of you come with me and the rest cover us ."
" yes, boss ." They all said in unison. Ace went back only to see Alexa oustside terrified.
" Ace, what is going on ?"
"I have no idea but it will end soon, i promise. Now go back inside and don't come outside until either me or Ryan comes to get you okay ?"
" yes " Alexa walked back inside and sat on the bed looking outside the window. Alexa was more confused than anything right now. She woke up with the sound of gunshots and as soon as she ran outside she saw few men on the ground injured and few were firing back.  It was only a matter of time when all this will be over and then she will have her peaceful time with Ryan as she wanted but till then she has to be patient and more likely be ready for whatever is thrown in her way to peace and happiness.

Ace and few of his men walked  outside through the back door and slowly inched forward using the firing from the balcony as a distraction Ace and his men got perfect opportunity to grab them head on. Ace was the first to hit the men on the front a d put him down by cracking his leg. Few other were behind him started pushing forward  and taking down men until they met  Rayn and Roman. Ryan nodded at Ace and they both with their men started walking until they heard another gunshot. Luckily Ace got hit by the bullet instead of Ryan as Ace was wearing a bulletproof jacket. They turned around to see none other than Jhon.
" How the fuck are you alive ?" Jhon asked angrily looking at his men. In response all his men looked down.
" Well, I still want to live and have fun." Ryan replied cockily. 
" Sorry to say then but you will die now. Both of you because I want your power and your  girl."
" Too late. You can't get any."
" It was Father's last wish that I rule America with a decent girl. I am going to fulfill his dream even if I've to kill someone for it."
" You can't. Your father was a dick. He can't even stand up for himself and so he decided to suicide." A cold voice said from behind him.
" Charles fucking Harrington. " Jhon muttered under his breath as he realized a cold metal touch the back of his head.
" Right. "
" Ryan have someone take my daughter away and you both get this piece of shit inside."
" Yes, sir. Roman ?"
Roman nodded and walked away from the scene into the warehouse where he walked upstairs to the guest room and knocked the door.
" who is it ?" Came a soft and scared voice from inside.
" Alexa, it's Roman. Open the door we are leaving."
Roman saw as Alexa opened the door slowly and peeked outside a little bit to see. When she saw Roman standing outside the door she opened the door fully and immediately hugged him.
" I was so scared. I thought something happened to you both. Is Ryan alright ? Are you alright ? Did you get hurt somewhere ?" Alexa started all sort of question and Roman kept looking at her. He never really had a sibling but she made it feel like he always had one. He smiled at her reassuring her that he is alright.
" Relax everyone is alright and waiting for us downstairs. Come on let's go shall we ?"
" yes." Alexa held Roman's hand and she timidly walked outside behind him. When she saw her father and Ryan she left Roman's hand and ran into her father's arms. In her safe place away from all dangers. She breathed realif as her father whispered sweet things in her ears immediately calming her.
" Dad, are you alright ?"
" yes, sweet girl I am fine. You can wait for me here and then we can leave okay?"
Alexa  nodded at her father and saw Ryan talking to Ace not even looking at her but she was sure she could see how angry he was they both walked inside after  her father followed both the men in the warehouse. Roman again took her hand and guided her outside away from the place. She saw another an waiting for them in the car on the opposite end of the street.
" Alexa meet him he is my boyfriend Evan. Evan she is Ryan's girlfriend Alexa."
" Honour to meet you." He said bending low and kissing the back of her plam. Alexa visibly blushed and looking down.
" you are cute " he said after sometime.
After talking to both of them they heard a loud blast and Alexa paled. She took off running to the direction where the noise came from and by the time she reached the place she saw that, the warehouse was on full blown fire.
" NOO !!!" Alexa shouted and started running towards the house but Roman and Evan were quick to her sides holding her back.
" No, Roman let me go. I have to save them, they are inside. Please." Alexa said with tears in her eyes and constantly kept struggling in her hold to be released.
" Alexa relax, see that." Roman said pointing in the direction of the house that was now buring with its Flames reaching the sky. Alexa saw three men walking in their direction two them were smoking a cigarette as they walked causally towards them. After a while she squinted her eyes and saw other men were following behind them, she kept looking and saw Ace Ryan and her father walking towards them. She looked at them and breathed realif that all of them were safe and fine and everything was finally over.
