chapter 29 Roman's love

Ryan and Alexa went back home spend their night together making it memorable. Ryan didn't know what Jhon has planned next for them but he need to find him soon, he has to find him he cannot risk Alexa's safety. They were binge watching series when Ryan's cell phone chimed. He picked up to see it was a call from Liam. He noticed that Alexa was sleeping peacefully in his arms so he picked the call.
" What did you find ?" Ryan asked as soon as he picked up the phone.
" Me, he found me." Came an unknown voice.
" Who is speaking?"
" Don't you remember me, my friend ? My mate, who left me in the pool of my blood in senior year of school."
" Jhon. "
"Yes. You got that right. Now I have this little Harrington here, wanna come pick him up from here."
" Where are you ?"
" California. exactly where you sent him all alone. I presumed that you will be more cleverer than this."
" Leave him, you want Alexa then come show some balls and take her from me if you can."
" Ahhh, already giving away your deals. Don't worry she will be mine once i finish you and her father. "
" Why are you doing this ?"
" Well, Because i want to. You have 6 hours to save him. It's 10 pm now, exactly at 4 am in the morning They will put bullet through his head. "
" You won't do any such thing."
" Your time starts now. Remember tik tok, the clock's ticking. "
" Jhon !!?? shitt !!! fuckk !!" Ryan shouted forgetting that Alexa was now fully awake and sacred.
" What happened?"
" I have to ho to California, Jhon has Liam. I am dropping you off at Roman's he will take care of you while i am gone."
" No, i am coming with you. It's my brother and he is there beacuse of me."
" Alexa we don't have time he gave me six hours, it'll probably take 5 hours to reach there and then another 30 minutes to find him. Don't argue right now, just do as i say can you ?"
" He is my brother you can't do that to me, it's my decision. "
" Let's get ready then we can decide yeah ?"
Alexa knew that he won't let her come with him but she had to do something, she has to save Liam from Jhon even if it cost her to give herself up to Jhon. Alexa ran upstairs to her room put on black jeans and a white shirt. She tucked the shirt in and prepared a bag with some cloths for herself, she had a feeling that she won't be back for few days. Alexa practically ran outside the room and saw Ryan in the living room talking on phone with someone.
" Yes, sir I'll take care of her until then." He said.
"yes, okay." Ryan again said after a few minutes of silence.
Alexa touched his arm to gain his attention. Ryan turned around and saw her carrying a bag, ready to leave.
Ryan nodded at her took her hands in his and started walking out of house.
Ryan headed to Roman's house with Alexa by his side trying to control her tears and not thinking about the bad things that might happen to Liam until he is with Jhon. Ryan reached Roman's penthouse and skidded his car to stop.
He saw that Roman was sitting on the couch watching tv. When he saw them he stood up in alert.
" What happened?" he asked confused.
" Take care of her until I am gone, don't let anything happen to her "
" What is going on ?"
" Jhon has her brother, Liam with him. I have to go save him personally, so you are the only one I can trust right now to keep her safe."
" What ? No, you can't go there alone, what if he has his men and you can't deal with them alone. Let me come with you, i can help."
" If you come, then there is no one to back me up. So you stay back and if you don't hear anything from me in 12 hours, understand that i need help."
" This is madness !! I can't let you go there alone."
" I'll be fine, just make a back up team. you know who you need to call."
Ryan turned around and kissed Alexa with full passion, promises her to bring back her brother.
" I wanted to say this since the day I met you in that cafe, but somehow I couldn't man up. but I love you."
" Don't do this." Alexa said as tears flowed on her cheeks.
" Do what ?" Ryan asked rubbing the back of her hands, soothing her.
" Don't say it like it's the last time you are talking to me. Let me join you please, I beg you You don't have to do this alone, or atleast take him with you. "
" What about you ?"
" I have survived all these years, away from him; hiding, I am sure i can do that for 12 hours more. Please, don't go alone."
" I am not leaving you alone. I have one more friend I am taking you to his place. "
" Roman get ready and meet me outside the club. I'll talk with Ace."
" Let's go."
Ryan took her hand in his and started walking back to his car. Roman went inside to change when he saw the man lying on his bed sprawled out and to mention naked. Roman shook him with froce to wake him up and he did after few minutes.
" what ? I am sleeping and exhausted."
" I am going with Ryan, Alexa's brother is captured by Jhon, we are going to save him in California. "
" What ? But now ? what if something happens to you ?"
" Then it shouldn't affect you. you can sleep in tonight and leave tomorrow morning."
" Are you still angry at me ? Come on, I thought you love me."
" Yes, I am still angry at you and this is just a one time thing."
" You are in denial, I saw the love and care in your eyes."
" There was no love or care. go back to sleep and leave tomorrow morning."
" You if Ryan finds out about this then I'll be thrilled to see this reaction."
Roman took his car keys and walked outside his bedroom.
" Fine, If you don't care about me then maybe i'll contact back with Jason, atleast he took care if my needs and daily --"
Roman turned around and pinned the boy to the nearest wall and said menacingly
" You will do no such thing or I will tie you to bed and then spank you all night untill i knock some sense in your thick skull."
" Hmm, jealous ?"
" Yes, Now if I find out that you did any such thing then you better start running from me, because i will find you."
" Hmm, i like this position." the man smirked trying to grind on Roman. Roman sighed at this, he knew of he stayed any longer he will infact fuck him again and that will make him late.
" Just go to sleep, Evan." saying that Roman released his neck and left without saying anything to his car and he he was off to Ryan's help.
