His Confession

chapter 30 Ryan's truth

Ryan was on his way to Ace's club with Alexa. This was the first time he will be asking for help from the Mafia and he didn't like this idea. He need to tell her everything about what he does, his dark secret.
" Alexa, I want to tell you something about me."
" Is it important right now ?"
" Yes, I am not just a business man, I have other profession as well. I am an underground boxer."
" Is that the reason you come home hurt, scratched and bruised."
" You can say that. I want you to know that the man I am going to take you to, is not a good guy."
" Then why are you taking me to him, take me with you I feel safe around you. Please, I beg you."
" He may not be a good guy but he is on our side."
" You are not going to tell me who he really is, are you ?"
" He is mafia boss, American Mafia. "
" Is that even real ?"
" Very." Ryan skidded the car to stop and along with Alexa he ran out and entered the club through the back door and straight to VIP corner.
" You wait here, I will come back to you."
Ryan walked inside and saw Ace talk with the girl, The girl he hated the most in his entire life. Emma Williams.
" Can i talk to you for a second ?"
" Ofcourse. " she said standing up.
" Not you, Ace ?"
" Me ? Oh, sure."  They walked outside and stood a distance away from from both women.
" How do you know her ?"
" She was my friend, in school days."
" Ohh, anyway I need a help."
ace just raised an eyebrows asking him to continue.
" My girlfriend, she is in grave danger, i want her safe. Roman is coming with me. You are the only option I have. I will give you whatever price you want for that. I will return back tomorrow by afternoon until then i want her safe away from all the dangers."
" You have a girlfriend? "
" Really ?"
" Okay, fine but i want you to join me later, for 2 months in training."
" Okay. Remember keep her hidden incase someone comes here asking for her, searching for her, I want you to protect her with your life."
" Fine. You got it."
Ryan went back and saw Alexa sitting on couch with her head in her hands.
" Alexa come with me"
" Alexa meet Ace, i talked to you about."
" Hello." She said with small smile which didn't reach her eyes.
Ace nodded at her and the turned to Ryan and said.
" You don't worry, she is well protected with me." hearing that Ryan bent down and kissed her. He loved her and he hated that he had to do this. Alexa was sad that he was not taking her with him but she also realised that it will only increase the problem for him.
She felt butterflies in her stomach even at this moment. She heard him say in her ears.
" stay away from the girl." She was confused about which girl he was talking about but just nodded 'yes' to him.
After Ryan left she looked at him untill he exit the club from the door they came from. she remembered that she need to tell him how much she loved him, how much she cared for him, how much she want to appreciate him, how much she loved when he looked at her, when he kissed her, when he make her blush. All those days she had spent with him she want to re-live those moments of happiness.
" I have a meeting to attend, come join me in my office will you ?" Alexa nodded half-hearted and followed behind him to the paths that she didn't recognize. As soon as she enetered the office, she saw a woman sitting on the chair. Maybe she is one Ryan was talking about. After all she did look like she is a woman to not mess with. Alex decided to not judge someone on the basis of her looks and smiled at her.
" you can sit on the couch, maybe read a book from the shelf. "
" Umm, i want to sleep ? can i ?"
" Sure." Ace saw the girl barely reaching his shoulders take off her shoes.
Alexa put her head on her knees wrapping her hands around her folded legs and closed her eyes thinking about what would happen to Ryan, Liam and Roman. They were all trying to protect her, she was not even worth it, she thought to herself. she controlled her breathing making it look like she was asleep so none of them could disturb her.
" who is she ?" the woman asked referring to Alexa.
" Ryan's girlfriend. "
" Ahh, so she is the one he has taken intrest in after me."
" what do you mean ?"
" I was his girl once, he loved me so much. Sad i had to leave him."
" Why did you leave him ?"
" He thought that i loved him as much as he did. But i wanted his money. I mean he wanted commitment i was young and wanted to live my life a little "
" hmm." Ace realized that this woman was someone else, his friend, the girl he knew was innocent.
" who are you ? and what have you done to my innocent friend ?"
" I have just grown to know the reality of the world. I just liked someone better than him who gave me all i wanted and not clinged on me like a moth."
" boss ?" Ace's right hand entered the room with a file in his hands.
" Emma, go outside and enjoy yourself i will join you in a short while."
" hmm." She said Alexa heard the door open and close. She slightly opened her eyes, as she saw the other man walk inside the room with a file.
" you don't have to pretend that you are asleep, no one will disturb you either way. " Alexa opened her eyes and saw as a photo fell of the file the other man was carrying. She looked at him then got up to pick up the photo instead to replying him.
" what did you find ?"
" We found who it us we should be looking for."
Axe raised his eyebrows. the other man searched for the picture before Alexa placed it beside the file and turned it around for him to see but she went into complete panic when she saw whose photo it was.
" Why are you searching him ?"
" do you know him ?"
" He is one Ryan and Roman went to, so that Ryan could save my brother from him." Alexa said thinking of all sort of scenes happening to Ryan, Roman or Liam.
" It can't be " The other man said.
" what do you mean ?"
" When i found who he was, i sent one of our man to follow him and locate him wherever he goes. He is currently in the town, about 30 miles from here in west." He said looking in the i-pad he had in his hand.
" That means, he must have his men who must be fighting Ryan and Roman. " Ace said concluding.
" Help him please, you are the boss you have your men everywhere, help him please. " Alexa said hoping that he would listen to her. Ace felt wierd comfort around this little girl it was almost as if he wanted to give her everything she wants.
That's way weirder than anything, he thought.
