chapter 34 Talks Talks Talks

" Dad ? Where is Liam ?"
" Don't worry, he is in the hospital taken care of. We will be fine soon."
" But I want to meet him."
" sweetheart, he has few broken ribs and cuts on him, do you want to see your brother in pain?"
Alexa quickly shook her head as tears gathered in her eyes.
" It is all because of me. I am so sorry daddy, I promise it won't happen again."
" My sweet girl, it did not happen because of you. It was meant to happen, you were just in a worng situation. You were never supposed to find out anything about this." Alexa nodded as her father turned to talk to Ace and she saw Ryan standing away from them looking intently at her.
Alexa was relieved to see Ryan he was fine except for he had few bruises on his face, she felt a sudden urge to see it from close. She walked upto him.
" Boy, come I want to talk to you." Charles said to Ace.
" Huh?" Ace said in confusion.
" Yes, It's been long time I have talked about Jhonny."
" You... you knew my dad ?"
" Yes, Ryan take my daughter at home. "
" yes, sir." Ryan held Alexa's hand and walked for few w meters until they were away from the audience. He later pulled Alexa to his chest and picked her up bridal style kissing her forehead lovingly.

Ace and Charles walked away from the couple.
" How do you know my dad ? " Ace came directly to the point.
" He once saved me during the time I needed someone the most. Then I saved you mom. They were close to us, it was very sad to hear that they lost their lives in an accident. "
" Then what is it that you want from me ?"
" I don't want anything from you. Before he died he made me promise that I will take care of his son. That I will be his father whenever he is not around. "
" you are my godfather. "
" Yes. Now it seems you are doing fine on your own but if you need to talk or need any help come to your home in Boston. You parent's doors are always open for you. I am sure karina will love to see you again."
" Nan Kei ?" Ace said faintly remembering the woman who he loved most before he grew up and left for boarding.
" Yes. Come home when you feel free." Charles said and patted him twice on his back before leaving him to his privacy.

" Ryan, I was so scared. " Alexa said with tears in her eyes.
" So was I, My babygirl. So was I "
" I want to spend some time with you, alone. No misunderstanding, no files or company work or any worries. Just sit with me and talk, tell me everything. Everything about you, what you like, dislike or maybe something else. "
" just please, don't hide anything from me. All I want in my life is you now. I have decided, it's fine if you deny with my thoughts but this is it, I can wait for you as long as you want. I just love you so much that now all I want is you and our relationship to be happy."
" Hey, listen to me. Let's go home. Then we can talk all you want; all night, all day. Sounds good ?" Ryan said in sweet voice.
" sounds perfect. " Alexa smiled brightly.
Ryan smiled at her back and walked to the car. It's been 3 hours they reached home, freshened up and now they both sat in the living room.
" so what do you wanna talk about ?" Ryan asked.
" you."
" what about me ?"
" anything you wanna tell me?"
" my story ?" Ryan smiled at her.
Alexa shrugged her shoulders in reply.
" Well, then listen." Ryan said bringing her close to him and brushing his nose onto hers.
" When I was a kid I always loved cars. Fast cars. In school, I loved the games period where I chose wrestling as a sport. I used to beat many boys senior than me. It came natural to me. I never practiced much but I was well built. And I always hand my brother's back. "
" My brother's name was Derek. He was the best brother ever. He helped me in my homework, in my test preparation, in my gym, basically in everything. " Ryan was faintly smiling when he remembered his brother but Alexa noticed it never reached his eyes.
" Then one day, he went out saying that he will be home soon to help me making the tree house that we were making for our own privacy. But that was the last time I saw him, smiling to me and waving me bye from his car."
" I later found out he was an underground fighter in the wrestling league. He was called maddog. When I found out it was very late one of the opponents hit him on the chest hard enough that his heart stopped working and he died on the spot. Mom and I were devastated. He was the adopted son so dad never cared but mom loved him more than anything else but now I realised why. He was the perfect son any mother would want. He took care of mom, me and never back answered dad even after dad said so many bad things to him."
" His death shattered us all, dad even though he never showed us but I knew he felt remorse of loosing him after all he was the one who adopted him and brought him home. Everything started to fall, business and us. I realised that if he would be there all he would say to me was, 'you have to take care of mom and dad now.' I started studying harder, scored good grades and at 19 I started my own company. My dad, he later joined me and we started various branches across the country. Everything was starting to get normal, mom was starting to smile more and slowly accepting the fact that he was no more and she still has to live."
" At 25 I had my first girlfriend, I loved her more than anything else. She made me happy and was always there for me. I thought she loved me just like I loved her. So then one day I decided to propose her to marry me. Because everything was going good and it was already a year of us in relation. But when I proposed her, she denied and shamelessly said that she was only with me because she wants money and reputation. I was so shocked to that statement, that day I promised myself that I will never have a serious relationship ever again. I had one night stands but that was it. There was a girl her name is Leslie, you might know her the same girl who gave you that scratch --" He pointed to Alexa's forehead.
" -- she thought that at some point I will accept her as my girlfriend. But before that could happen I met an angel so beautiful and innocent. "Alexa raised her eyebrows and smiled at him. His eyes held so many unsaid emotions. Alexa knew she will never let anyone come in between them even if the God himslef.
" when I met you, I realized that I want you no matter what happens, then the kiss that we shared made every cell in me want to leave everything and hide you from the world. You make it so hard for me to control myself in every way. " Alexa's heart was pounding in her chest. His Confession about love to her was very much for Alexa to handle.
" I love you." Was all Alexa said before he could say anything she leaned in and kissed him on his cheeks.
" marry me." Ryan said as he held her close to himself and sweetly kissed her lips. The sweet kiss was slowly turning into intense and urgent soon he started leaving open mouth kisses on all her neck and collar bone. Alexa was so lost in the feeling that she didn't realize that he proposed her to marry him. Ryan picked Alexa bridal style and carried her to his room upstairs without breaking the kiss. He slowly laid her on the bed. All night he worshiped her as if she will break even on slight touch.

Alexa knew he was the one since the day he left everything to save her brother. She wanted him, needed him and that's the only reason she will marry him. She will give all her love, care, attention and everything to him. She will marry him. She will love him till her last breath and even if the world ends tomorrow she will happily die in his arms.
