Author POV:
Tonight was Meredith and Derek's night off from work so they decided to go out on a date. Riley decided that she would babysit Ellis and just chill at home. Zola and Bailey, were at a playdate at Sofia's house and they wouldn't be back tomorrow, so it was just the two girls at home. Meredith and Derek haven't been on a date at all since Ellis was born and now she was six months old.
"Hey so if you need anything at all, just call us and we'll be home right away. I'm gonna miss you guys a lot." Meredith smiled, kissing Ellis and never wanting to let go of her.
Derek was hugging Riley and was hesitant about leaving the two of them.
"Guys, we'll be fine. You guys go and have fun. I will text you if there are any emergencies. Don't call every five minutes, okay?" Riley chuckles
"You guys be good. Love you." The four of them hugged and waved goodbye before walking out the door.
"Looks like it's just you and me, sweet pea! We can stay up for a little bit, but then you gotta head to bed." Riley cooed Ellis and planted kisses all over her face. Ellis was laughing and clapping her hands.
"How about I warm you up a bottle and we watch some Law & Order? Sounds good to me!" she smiled
Riley walked over to the refrigerator and grabbed one of the many bottles that Meredith had made for Ellis, she then heated it in the microwave and fed Ellis shortly after.
Riley's phone starts to ring and she sees that her parents are calling from Facetime. She answers immediately and holds up the camera to a sleeping Ellis.
"Hi babies, aww she's so beautiful when she sleeps." Meredith smiled
"How's the date going?" Riley asked
"It's going well. Is everything okay? Do we need to come home or anything?" Derek said
"No, no, no. I just got her down as scheduled. I just had dinner and I'm headed to take a shower, then I'll head to bed. She's no trouble." Riley said
"Okay, we love you. Call us if you need anything." Meredith speaks
"We're fine, Mom. Have fun with Dad and relax. Love you guys too." Riley hung up.
After taking a shower and unwinding, Riley started to hear some shuffling downstairs and she thought Amelia had come home early from work.
"Auntie Amy? Thank god you're home. I thought that I was gonna die of boredom. Ellis is great, but she doesn't know how to talk about fellows, school, or fashion and you do." Riley rambled, not even acknowledging whose presence she was in. She had felt a puff on the back of her neck.
Oh no. This can't be good.
Someone whacked the back of her head and she fell to the ground, unconscious.
"You just thought you could get away, didn't you?" A deep voice echoed throughout the walls of the dream house.
15 Minutes Later
Riley wakes up with her mouth taped shut, hands fastened behind her back, and her head pounding away. It was hard for her to stay vigilant and keep her eyes upright.
"How many times have I told you that you're mine? You don't get to run away from me! When I took you, you were supposed to stay! If you try to run away again, I will kill you. Without hesitation, I will kill you and whoever else is in this house if I have to. Is that understood?" A very familiar man had said.
Riley POV:
No, it can't be him! Can it? My kidnapper and the man who violated my body almost three years ago has me, hostage, again? This is just my luck. I just can't believe this. Why is this happening to me?
