Hi, guys. I'm not sure if you still remember this malec fanfic, but I've read through all the comments that you've left in the last chapter over the past few years and I would just like to say thank you for all your time and support - without you guys, I'd probably have abandoned this fic permanently (more on that later). But mostly, I'd like to apologize for leaving everyone hanging and for disappearing for 7 years.
I guess the only explanation for my disappearance is that... I was growing up. I was 13 when I started this fic and we all know how we are when we're teens - constantly discovering new experiences and abandoning things when they get boring. But now I'm 21 and I'm slowly going back into my old hobbies and interests, which includes my malec phase. Hence, I decided to pick this malec fic up again.
The only downside is that I won't be continuing this fic on Wattpad since I don't use this platform anymore. Changes have been made to the plot but the essence of the scenes remain the same. The writing style is also a lot more mature with less fillers and unnecessary scenes. I have also summarized the entire Part I of this fic into two chapters (which I have finished writing - Chapter 2 is to be uploaded some time soon) and I will try to update as frequently as possible. I'm currently in my last semester of University and I also have a thesis to write so I have to juggle between these, but you have my word that I will finish this fic before 2022 ends since I have already finished the outline - all that's left is to write the chapters.
I understand if you'd rather not read a rewrite of this fic (especially when new content is still roughly months away) which is totally fine, but I still wanted to thank each and every one of you for all your support - you guys have given me the motivation that I needed to continue this fic and from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
This is probably the last update that I'll be making, and I will mark this as completed once I finished the rewritten version on Ao3. Until then, stay safe everyone and I hope life has been kind to you as well.
