Taehyun looked through his inbox to finally see a email from Kai with the research he had done.
From: Kai Re: Gift Ideas for a "Friend"
The demon had created list of gifts, where to get the best quality of them, and the messages that each of the gifts conveyed.
Taehyun hummed, scrolling through it all,"He is right.. a handmade gift basket is way too soon and too romantic."
He scrolled down a bit further and saw that Kai had begun making some combinations. A gift card won't do, I don't know where he prefers to shop.. Taehyun read the email more thoroughly than he had read any file for work.
Carefully he annotated the meanings behind different bouquets of flowers. "I think this combination will work the best." He looked down at his mini notebook, where it he had circled chocolates and flowers.
The devil picked up his phone,"Kai. I need you to have these times purchased and brought here immediately." He told the male what he wanted.
Kai sighed softly,"Alright sir." He mumbled, getting up from his desk and leaving the building to head to the parking garage.
The male got into his car and pulled out his phone, making a reservation with a chocolate shop, and driving to the flower shop.
The male entered the flower shop and was greeted by a worker who's name tag read Jaemin. "Hi, welcome." The male smiled.
Kai was taken aback by the male's pretty face,"Uh.. hello."
"How can I help you?" The male asked.
"I'm.. I'm trying to make a small bouquet."
Jaemin walked around the counter, securing his apron and picking up a small sheet of brown paper. "Sure. What kind of flowers did you want?"
Kai cleared his throat before pulling out his phone and showing the male what he wanted.
"Oh baby's breath flowers~ that's so cute. Is someone getting married?" The male got to work picking out flowers and cutting them properly.
"Huh! N-No! I thought they signified innocence." He replied.
Jaemin hummed,"They do. It's just they're often associated with weddings. But I suppose if the person receiving this doesn't also work in a flower shop, they might not know."
"Oh okay." Kai watched the male, only to turn around when he heard the bell ring at the door.
"Nana, I brought you bubble tea with sugar." A male spoke, he was dressed in a business casual outfit, carrying a cupholder with two drinks.
Jaemin looked up,"Thank you Nono." He smiled at Jeno before getting back to work wrapping the flowers.
"I'm going to put them in the back." Jeno walked off and Jaemin's eyes followed the male for a moment before turning his attention back to the bouquet with a blush.
