Beomgyu waited for Kai to enter the bathroom anxiously. He really didn't want this entire plan to fail. After a moment of pacing around the restroom and feeling tense, the demon opened the door.
"Beomgyu?" A curious voice called.
The angel looked up from the floor to see the demon standing there holding a small backpack. "H-hello." The angel whispered.
This was really it, he was about to go see Taehyun.
Kai took a step back, he certainly understood why Taehyun had been freaking out over a single angel. Beomgyu was breathtaking. Although in his mind, the angel at the front desk had his attention much more.
"Take this." Kai handed the angel a black hoodie,"I don't sense any binding forces on you, so I don't think they expected you to try and escape during work."
The angel put the hoodie on, zipping it up and pulling the hood over his head,"Won't this look too suspicious?"
"If you're walking casually, there shouldn't be an issue." Kai replied handing Beomgyu a bag that was for food delivery. "A good disguise right?" Kai asked.
Beomgyu nodded but he was still nervous. "Should I leave first?" Beomgyu asked.
Kai nodded and waited for the angel to walk out.
Beomgyu exhaled softly and left the bathroom, keeping his head down as if he was distracted by his own shoes. He was lucky that his pants and shoes didn't look ridiculously formal or he might have been stopped.
Beomgyu made it out the door and sighed with relief. He hadn't even gotten to the underworld but he was feeling relaxed to finally be out of work. It wasn't that he hated that place, but the only thing on his mind was finally being able to see and talk to Taehyun.
The angel had made it quite a distance away from work before throwing out the fake delivery bag and unzipping the hoodie to wrap around his waist so he could finally spread his wings. He needed to move quickly if he wanted to get there before the work day was over and people noticed he was missing.

Taehyun's sharp nails scratched at his desk nervously as he waited for a reply from Kai. Haven't they met by now? Did he get caught?
Just as Taehyun's thoughts were about to spiral even further, Kai texted him to confirm that the angel had left safely. Taehyun sighed with relief and slumped back in his chair. I've never missed someone this much.. The devil thought to himself.
It was a bit strange to him. He didn't realize he could stress so much over someone, and this person wasn't even his romantic partner.
It was only a matter of hours until Beomgyu would arrive. The devil caught a glimpse of himself in his phone's reflection. I should've tried to look somewhat presentable.. he's going to be here in a few hours. Taehyun got up, he needed to go home. I look so drained.
