Pearl's POV
I woke up the next day, groaning to myself as I had a huge headache from dehydration. Was I really out for that long? I then realised that today was my birthday, or was supposed to be my birthday. I didn't want a birthday. Actually, I hated them. I sat up slowly, my neck was sore, but not too sore. I was expecting for her to ring the damn bell, but it never rung. Then, there was a small knock on the door. "Fuck off." I said at the door, before I watched it open. "Happy...-"
"No. Don't even finish the fucking sentence, bitch." I told the Queen, who entered the room anyway. She was carrying a basket, which was full of food because I could smell it from where I was sitting. It was some fresh bread, and pancakes, along with a jug poking out. She walked over to me, placing the basket on my side table, moving some of my things away. My heart was beating hard against my chest, because she was scaring me with her silence. I watched her take out a jug of orange juice, along with the freshly made pancakes. She placed the plate on my lap, leaving the jug on the side table. "If you are done, get out." I told her, before she let out a small sigh and a fake tear started to go down her cheek as she picked up the basket and left the room.
I started to eat the pancakes with my hands, since she didn't care to give me a fork and knife. My headache then started to slowly fade away, which was a very good thing as I didn't have to deal with it all day. After I finished, a wave of anger struck me. I grabbed the empty plate and threw it as hard as I could at the door, watching it shatter into pieces with satisfaction.
I got out of the bed and started to drink some orange juice from the jug, before also throwing it. Shortly after, I watched the door open to see the Queen with wide eyes. She then looked up to me, "I'll get someone to clean your room for you. For now, you can be with me..."
"Be with you? Nah, I don't think so." I said, "Am I really that bad?" she asked me. "Yeah, you are piece of shit. You'll never get loved. I highly doubt it anyway." I replied. She then placed her hand on her chest, acting if my words actually hurt her. "I will never love you, my Queen. In fact, I very much hate you." I told her my feelings towards her, and that was the last straw as I watched her begin to cry. I couldn't help it but to laugh at her act, finding her hilarious as she was dead on the inside and dead on the outside.
She then left, causing me to laugh more.
