Pearl's POV
I began to wake up, fluttering my eyes open to see that Dahlia was sleeping on top of me. It was all so strange, me being connected with her through feelings. It kind of breaks my heart to say this, but I was still in denial with us being...mates. I softly trailed my fingers up and down Dahlia's spine, making me breathe in a little as she immediately began to kiss my neck. "Mine." she purred into my ear, "Don't be in denial, Pearly. We were meant to be..." she said, before I felt her fangs sink into the side of my neck. I let out a small groan, not really feeling the pleasure this time as I was trying to properly wake up. And she wasn't helping.
"My Queen, can you stop?" I asked her, before I felt the release of her fangs. She then got off me, laying down on the bed. "Sorry. I'm just so in love with you." she told me. I looked at her, before I got up and went over to the bathroom to have my daily shower. She followed me in, causing me a sigh as she softly wrapped her arms around me. "I'm in love with you, Pearly. Don't you feel the same?" she asked me. I then turned around to face her. I wasn't looking at her eyes though, I was looking at her body...
She chuckled at this, before she got moved in front of me to turn on the shower. Then, she placed her hands on my sides and pressed her lips against mine. I kissed her back, but that wasn't enough as she pinned me against the shower wall, kissing me some more. I had to stop falling in love with her. She was a vampire. But...she was also my lover...
Dahlia pulled away, but she pressed a kiss on my forehead and grabbed a bar of soap. She then started to apply it on my body, sending butterflies into my stomach. I then decided to look into her eyes, and she looked into mine.
"Are you still in denial?" she asked me.
"I love you." I admitted it.
