"Well Rinko, there are a few things to keep in mind when you want to know if you like someone! Like, whenever you're with that person, you're always having fun, and you want to be with that person longer than anyone else!" Imai-san said.

***Flashback to a few months ago when Homiru and Rinrin first met and starting going on adventures***

"Check this out! This monster just dropped something really rare!" Homiru-san said.

"That's amazing! What are it's stats?" I asked him.

"Well... it's called the Ember of memories... It apparently boosts fire attacks!" He said.

"That sounds like a wonderful item!" I said.

"I know right?! Here, Rinrin-san! You can have it!" He said.

Eh? He's giving it to me??

"How come you're giving it to me? You were the one thay found it Homiru-san..." I said.

"That is true.... But at the same time, It'd be a waste on me!" He said.

"Don't say that!" I corrected him.

"No really! I don't have any fire spells or attacks at all! my skillset is more on focused on Wind types! And I figured that Rinrin-san uses Fire attacks a lot... I wanted to give it to you!" He said.

Well... that does make sense....

Homiru-san is being nice enough to give me a rare item, I shouldn't turn away from his kindness. I'll repay his kindness someday!

"Then I think I'll.... take you up on your kindness Homiru-san! Thank you...." I said.

He then gave me the item, and I've kept it with me ever since.

Yeah, it's still the equipment I have on my extra equipment slot. It must have a sentimental value to me now...

"In return, do you think we can keep going? I kind of want to explore more of this dungeon!" He said.

"Is that really all you want Homiru-san?" I asked him.

"Totally! It's only been a few days but... I realized that it's so much fun going on adventures with you! If you don't have anything else left to do.... then please join me!" He said.

And ever since then.... Homiru-san took me places.

We went on countless of adventures. Met so many players and different kinds of NPC's, experienced lots of hardships, and slayed many different kinds of monsters together.

All of those experience...are way out of my comfort zone.

At first, I kind of just wanted to try hanging out with a boy. But later on... it gradually got harder and harder to get away from the persistent Homiru-san.

But I quickly realized how much of that was a lie. The truth is that I actually really liked going on adventures with him too...

He did say that he wanted to explore so many things when he's with me...

Then....

He really does like me after all?!

But I also just said that I also liked going on adventures with him...
