"Anon! Get the last one!" Saito said as he lands a stun on the boss.

"I'm on it!" I said.

Since the boss is stunned, I decided to finish it off with a skill.

"Clean Cut!" I activated the skill, and slashed the boss out if the area.

I used clean cut because if the skill executes a monster, the rare drop rate increases by 5%.

It's a skill I found while I was exploring an old dungeon. It's pretty handy.

"Nice work out there! Did you get the drop this time?" He asked.

We've been farming this boss for 3 hours. I know. We don't have lives anymore at this point. But I've been wanting this drop for a while now.

It's called "Fafnir's Legacy". It's a weapon upgrade you can give to "False Hope: Gram". And the stat increase is just too good to pass.

"Yup, here it is... after 3 long hours...." I cried.

"Chill out man..." Saito said.

"Anyways, I'm heading back to town to get this upgrade on my sword. What about you Saito?" I asked him.

"Well... my levels went up by 4 this time around because we've fought thing boss over 20 times now so.... I'd say I'm coming with you." He said.

"Alright then." I said.

And so we head back to town so that I can finally upgrade my sword. At the moment, this is still one of the best swords in the game. That's why I worked hard to get this sword back then with...

Oh yeah....

I got this sword with the help of Rinrin...

Oh c'mon! There's no use trying to remember things like this!

What matters is that I enjoyed our time together! And like... I'm not really mad at Rinrin. Not in the slightest bit.

.
.
.

We arrive at a blacksmith I know and trust. I always come to their shop whenever I need upgrades or whenever I would inquire about equipments.

"Yuna-san! Are you around?" I chat to see if she was in her shop.

"Yo! Mr. Battle-crazed milk man!" Said Yuna-san.

This is Yuna-san. Level 120 Archer/Blacksmith. Pretty weird combination of two classes don't you think? No? Just me then.

Oh btw, I'm currently Level 130. It's the current level cap after all. And Saito is 118.

Yuna-san is a player I met around the time I separated with Rinrin.... ohh c'mon....

I helped her out with the game and some materials she needed to gather, and then she said that I can come to her shop whenever I need gear that needs fixing or upgrading.

And ever since then, she's become my favorite smith.

"I told you not to call me that..." I told her.

"Why not? Everyone calls you the "Deadly Dairy" for a reason~" She said.

Great...

I avoided this in the previous chapter, but the title that was given to me by the playerbase is "Deadly Dairy".

Why?? Because my username is Hot Milk and that I was seen as a battle-crazed player. They would often see me fighting mobs and defeating bosses wherever I go. Which is normal right?! Anyone does this in an RPG!!

But what sets me aside from the rest is that I'm in the Mythical 10.

Btw, my natural hair color is white. And so is my in-game avatar. That's why I took the name Hot milk. Well... I like hot milk... and it was just kind of random and funny at the time.

I didn't think I'd get too absorbed in this game, and I didn't think I would get recognized so much... If I knew this beforehand, I would've went with a much cooler name that Hot Milk...

"Anyways, what brings you two here today?" Yuna-san asked.

"We actually just finished up farming the new boss. Anon here got the rare drop he wanted and now he needs you to upgrade his sword." Saito explained.

"You mean Dragon Spirit Fafnir? How long have you been grinding? He's been out for a few days and I don't think anyone's gotten that rare drop yet..." Yuna-san said.

"I've been learning how to beat it alone when it first came out. After that, I farmed it for hours and hours and I still had no luck. We went on a 3 hour long grind earlier and I finally managed to get it..." I said.

"So uhmm.... how many hours did you spend on that dragon from the start exactly...?" Yuna-san asked.

"33 hours...." I said.

Both Yuna-san and Saito was shocked.

I know right? I'm cool... hahahaha....

"I'll... get that upgraded for you..." Yuna-san said.

"Yeah... I'll go... I'll be outside..." Saito said.

"Can you guys not act like this!!!" I retorted.

"Nice retort!" Yuna-san said.

"So you weren't sad for me from the start?!" I retorted again.

.
.
.

"So, did you do all of this just so you can distract yourself from that Rinrin you once told me about?" Yuna-san asked.

"Not really... I just wanted the drop... I wanted to strengthen my weapon is all.." I said.

"Look Anon... I know that you're trying hard to move on and you may think you're doing a good job... But you aren't. Make sure you're taking care of yourself and that you're not forcing yourself, okay?" Yuna-san gave me a lecture basically.

"You know... I hate it that you act like an elder sister sometimes..." I said casually.

"I can be more than just your elder sister you know~" Yuna-san said.

"Please stop..." I couldn't exactly get the right words out.

"HAHAHAHA Anon, your reactions are just perfect!" Yuna-san said.

.
.
.

"And with that, your sword upgrade is finished! It acquired a new name!" Yuna-said said as she holds the sword up.

"What's it called?" I asked.

"Saga of the Volsungs. I'm not entirely sure what it means, but these stats are insane!" She reacted.

"That's cool! Anyways... how much do I owe you?" I asked.

"About that..." Yuna-said said.

But before she could finsih her sentence, Saito came in with a player.

"Hey Yuna-san! I found this player walking back and forth outside your shop when I came back!" Saito said.

"Who are they?" Yuna-san asked.

"She said she's a new player and wanted to ask about the game from you!" Saito replied.

Yuna-sad then placed her hand on my shoulder signaling that she's about to pass a heavy responsibility to me.

"Oh please don't..." I said.

"You got this!" Yuna-san said as she slaps my characters back.

I felt that virtual pain.
