Playing the piano as a kid, was something I didn't think much of. It was something my parents forced onto me after all, but I don't think that it was an irresponsible thing to do at all. I managed to learn to play an instrument at a very young age, and I've been able to wow some people, and to make some smile with it too.
Although it isn't something I go around telling people. I don't think it's just something worth boasting about or.... flexing, if you will.
I don't mind if people ask me to play the piano for a little bit after they surprisingly find out about it either because someone else mentioned it to them, or via my friend Saito here.
.
.
.So after our introduction finished, we kind of wandered off to the topic of my piano skills.
"So you and Shirokane-san here are the same huh?" Yuki-san said.
"You may not believe me but... Anon-kun turns into a different person whenever he plays!" Saito added.
He says that because..... It's true?
I don't think a lot of people would understand, but it isn't that hard to relate to.
Whenever you're fully immersed in something, you'll find yourself lost and invested into whatever it is you're doing. It's like entering a flow state.
"Our music teacher would make him stop so he can explain to the class, but he doesn't stop and continues playing until I slap him and he comes back to reality! HAHAHAHA!" Saito added once more. While bursting into laughter.
So you had to bring that one up!!!
"Oh quit it! The piece was very enjoyable okay?!" I retorted.
"But I'm surprised that you knew how to play the Piano Anon..." Shuuna said.
"What? So now you think that a person like me isn't capable of something like that?" I said.
"Not at all, I do think that you're a really capable and dependable person from the moment I set my eyes on you." Shuuna said.
What.
WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!
"Why say it like that?!" I ask her.
"Sorry!! I didn't it mean it that way! It's just... I'm always messing with you.... and I wanted to be sincere for once..." Shuuna said.
Please pick a better time to be sincere!!!
Although.... I don't mind it at all.
A compliment is a compliment, after all.
"I agree with Adagaki-san! I think that's very nice Anon-kun!" Shirokane-san said.
Ahhh.... Now that's a compliment I'd like to hear more often!
.
.
.
.
.So now, we finally reach the main topic of today's agenda.
"So, here's the information I've gathered about the Raid called "The Hearth of Ifrit". You all ready to hear it?" I asked then.
Naturally, they all nod.
The Hearth of Ifrit is a Large Dungeon that's meant to be conquered by a party or an entire guild. It's one of the new dungeons that's been added ever since the update, and it's the first one where clearing it alone seems impossible.
The dungeon offers various loot with rarities that shot through the roof. If anyone want to, they can keep the items for themselves, or sell it for a high sum.
The main boss of the dungeon is named "Ifrit, the Fire Spirit". Based on Islamic mythology, Ifrit is a Fire elemental Demon. Which kind of gives us a huge problem....
"That's right.... Ifrit is immune to fire.... meaning my spells wont work on him..." Shirokane-san said.
"We should be fine as long as you have spells that isn't fire." I said.
"I did learn some other spells in case something like this happened. I think I'll be fine." Shirokane-san replied.
Shirokane-san seems to be well versed in terms of fighting. Even when we were a few days into the game, she played as if she's played an MMO before. And so I assumed she's played similar titles before.
She'll be fine.
"That just leaves us to our formation, right?" Shuuna asked.
"Yes, it's a simple one, but I've got us a rough formation plan." I said.
"Let's hear it then." Yuki-san said.
.
.
.Our guild consists of a Tank, a Mage, a Swordsman, a War Priestess, a Fallen Angel, and an Archer.
Saito would be front and will tank all of Ifrit's attacks, since he's our tank. I'll have Ako-chan and Shuuna position roughly to the side of Ifrit where Shirokane-san is positioned behind them. While those 2 are attacking, I'll also be asking Shirokane-san to provide support on our tank and those two while she's trying to dish out damage.
Yuki-san is gonna be positioned on a much further and higher ground so she can focus on her ranged attacks and continuously shoot that thing till it drops dead.
Meanwhile, I'll be providing damage with my sword and abilities behind Ifrit. Some of my skills may end up giving the boss' attention/aggro to me so.... I want to position myself behind it.
If it comes down to that, I can probably just avoid the boss' attacks until Saito can retake the aggro back.
"Wow, you've outdone yourself. How long did it take you to plan all of this?" Shuuna asked.
"I thought hard about all of it last night. I really wanted to conquer this dungeon no matter what!" I said.
"But don't you think it'll be difficult with me and Ako-chan's levels?" Shuuna asked.
"I've been a little worried about that too! Ako is still not that strong yet! I need time to get stronger!!" Ako-chan said.
"And that's exactly what we'll give you. So, for the next few days we have, I want you all to focus on leveling and getting the gear and items that you need for this raid. Got it?" I said.
"Look who's leading the pack..." Yuki-san said.
"But before all of that.... let's order something and eat! I'm starving!" I said.
.
.
.And that marks our meeting over. Tomorrow is a Sunday, and we practically almost got all day to play the game. We'll be taking Ako-chan and Shuuna under our wings and help them with leveling up!
What could possibly go wrong?
