"Shuuna! Get the last one!" I yelled out.
Shuuna's avatar then leaped into the air and dove into the enemy to land the finishing blow.
"Brave Impact!!" She said.
What the....
"Was yelling the name of the skill necessary?" I asked her.
"Sorry~ Was just getting a little into it!" She replied.
.
.
.
It's a Sunday, and that means. It's kind of a day for me to help Shuuna grind exp on HTO.
We've been grinding since she woke up this morning. And it's been 3 hours already. She's now at Level 70.
"How's those EXP boosting potions working for you?" I asked her.
She purchased those potions....
"They're literally doubling the base exp these monsters net me! This is nothing but fantastic!" were the words she used to describe the thing.
"Well.... if it's helping you out with leveling up then... I guess I don't really have a say in whatever it is that you buy with your money." I said.
"What about you? Aren't you gonna prepare for the raid?" Shuuna asked.
"I'm already at max level at the moment. And my gear is pretty much still doing fine since Yuna-san is in charge with their maintenance." I said.
I then receive an in-game message from Yuna-san.
"Speaking of Yuna-san, she just sent me an in-game message...." I said.
"Don't ignore your phone. - Yuna"
What does that mean?
I went over to check my phone and see if it has anything.
"Oh crap, my phone was on silent and Yuna-san's been contacting me for the past 10 minutes?!" I said out loud.
"If she's been trying to contact you that long then it must be something important." Shuuna said.
"Yeah, it must be. Hold on, I'm gonna call her back." I said.
I then went to ring Yuki-san.
.
.
.
"Took you long enough." She said.
Ugh. She sounds stressed.
"What's wrong? Everything okay there?" I asked.
Yuki-san is currently in the shop. There's supposedly a delivery of a new item from the company that developed Horizon Tale Online, VisionClad Games.
Although we don't know what it is yet. Since we are a games hub, we get a lot of these new and to be announced tech or items that games would release to the public.
And maybe that's what they're gonna announce in tonight's livestream.
"I've received the delivery from VisionClad™ about the stock for the new HorizOne." Yuki-san said.
HorizOne?
"Ahhh, I forgot they're not gonna announce it until tonight. Anyways, I need you to come by the shop right now to help me get these bad boys in and take inventory." She added.
So it is gonna be in the livestream announcement.
"I see... I'll head to the shop right now." I said.
"Sorry, I know it's a weekend but... these budget reports aren't gonna write themselves..." Yuki-san said.
"It's fine, I'm an employee after all!" I energetically said.
And hung up.
.
.
.
"Shiina... Sorry! I'm gonna have to go, Yuna-san needs me at the shop for something." I said.
"That's fine! Should I go and join Ako-chan and Rinrin?" She asked.
"That's right, I'll send a message to Rinrin right now and tell her that you'll join Ako-chan with exp farming." I said.
"Okay then, no worries!" She said.
Huh.....Okay....
"Also, before ago, take this item with you." I said.
I then gave an item to Shiina.
"Union Ring? What's this?" She asked.
No retorts...???
"It's a ring that boosts EXP whenever you're in a party with 1 or more person whose levels are higher or lower by 2 from yours. This should help you both out." I said.
"Whoah! This will really help! Thanks Homiru-kun! Also, goodluck with work!" Shiina said.
Huh....weird...
"Thanks I guess, I'll be out." I said.
.
.
.
Shuuna has been.... acting a little weird since this morning.
She's been nice to me. I mean, she's always nice, don't get me wrong. But she's a little too nice from the usual Shuuna.
She hasn't made fun of me. She hasn't been pushing me around all day, and she haven't been retorting to anything at all.
It's like... she's a completely different person.
She's like an angelic version of Shuuna.
Which is kind of creeping me out actually...
I wonder if there was anything I said yesterday that might've triggered this?
....
I can't think of anything at all.
Oh well, maybe it's just me. Perhaps she'll go back to normal in a few hours, or maybe tomorrow.
.
.
.
I then arrive at the shop to discover that there's still a truck unloading boxes after boxes. And they're pretty big too.
What's going on?
"Ah, Anon, you're here. Please, help these boys out for me..." Yuki-san said.
The truck has the VisionClad logo on it, so these items must the HorizOne that Yuki-san just talking about a little while back.
"Yuki-san.... that's a lot... and it seems like we have quite a bit of a busy shop...." I said.
I don't think I can handle all of this alone...
"Don't worry, that's why I brought them here." Yuki-san said.
Who's they?
"Yo! Anon! We're here to help!" Saito said.
What the....? What????
Saito, Shuuna, Ako-chan, Shirokane-san.... they're all here?!?!
Wait... what are they all doing here?
"Yuki-san actually called me as soon as you logged out. She also asked us to help you I guess." Shuuna said.
"We may not be used to this kind of job, but we'll do our best to help!" Shirokane-san said.
"These boxes shall vanish before my very presence!" Ako-chan said.
Wait so.... was I really needed here in the first place?
I look over yo Yuki-san.
She sighs.
"Look, I appreciate your help and all... But I also thought that I could use more hands!!!" Yuki-san said.
Well... I guess we just have to do it.
"I'm not entirely against it! So let's just to do this guys!" I said.
"Let's go!!!!" Everyone.
