The next morning, Angel woke up groggy. She turned the water on in her sink to wash her face. When she touched the water, magic surrounded her. She plopped down onto the floor, to her surprise, she has no legs but a light purple tail with a matching shell bra to match. At the same time, April was getting the newspaper for her dad. Since, he had to go to work early. When she picked it up in her front yard, the sprinklers turned on.

Magic also surrounded her. She plopped on the grass. She has a light-yellow tail and a matching yellow shell bra on as well. Sometime later, it was Leo's turn to take a shower. Unknown to him, his brothers switched his soap with some mud they found outside. They wanted to prank Leo, since they see him as a goody two shoes that never gets into trouble like they do. When he hopped in the shower, magic surrounded him.

He slid in the tub. His upper body was the same but instead of having legs, he has a light blue tail. He let out a horrified scream. His brothers were high fiving each other, believing they pranked Leo. Later, Leo and the others met on the beach to talk about what's happened to them. "All I know is that my brothers switched my soap with mud. They didn't know what happened to me.

After a few seconds out of the shower, I was back to normal." Angel spoke next. "Same with me. I changed when I touched the water, then I was back to normal after a few seconds. Thank god my brother Ryan saw me when I was normal again." April huffed. "You guys were lucky. I had to crawl back inside the house to get away from the sprinklers before I changed back to normal."

She rubbed her sore arms to prove her point. "What I want to know is why this is happening to us?" they thought for a moment. Leo had one thought. "What about the hidden cave we were in?" the others were confused. "What do you mean?" April asked him. "Think about it. It happened to us after we were there. Plus, the moon was shining bright in the water." They weren't fully convinced. "Maybe, perhaps not. One thing is certain though. We change when we come into contact with water.

Until we figure what's going on, I think it's best if we don't tell anyone about this. Who knows what they'll do." Angel and Leo agreed 100% with her. They'll learn to adjust to their new forms. After that, they went to a more private part of the beach to show each other their mermaid forms. They were in awe with each other. Leo sighed sadly and buried his face in the sand. He's the saddest one with his new form. He still doesn't like the water and is the only guy in the group. Life is going to get weirder that's for sure.
