"Leo! Leo!" Leo's brother Donny yelled from inside the boat. Underwater, Leo was swimming peacefully until he heard his brother calling out to him. Sighing in frustration, he resurfaced. "What is it now Donny?"

This is starting to take its toll on Leo as well as his mermaid friends. Leo convinced the others not to leave, but to talk to their loved ones about what's been bothering them.

They were understanding and reassured them that they aren't a burden to them. However, upon learning of them wanting to leave, has caused their families and friends to smother them.

They can't be left alone for more than twenty minutes. Thank god their classes are an hour long. That's the only break the mermaids have to take a breather and talk to one another without their loved ones around to spy on them. It didn't take long for them to realize that they don't trust them at the moment.

April's dad has to attend therapy sessions to help him deal with the anxiety, worry, and fear that April will abandon him. This made April feel super guilty about wanting to leave not once, but twice. Leo feels guilty for even saying anything. Now, he and his friends have to pay the price for being untrustworthy until their loved ones deem them trustworthy ever again.

Leo wanted to go for a nice relaxing swim with the others, however the others haven't gone for a swim since the babysitting has begun. Even Ryan, Angel's brother had switched to a stay at home job he found online in order to watch her. They can hang out and do stuff, but someone has to be present to make sure they don't run away.

Here's Leo resurfacing for the tenth time on his swim. Donny was wearing his fishing hat smiling sheepishly at him. "Sorry bro, but you were gone awhile. Leo checked his phone. "I've only been gone ten minutes." He threw his hands up in frustration. "You should've brought scuba gear or something if you're going to call me every ten minutes. I haven't been able to enjoy my swim."

Donny looked guilty. "Sorry, I can't help it. I'm so scared that you're going to leave us." Leo bowed his head. "It's been almost a month Donny. I promise I won't leave you guys." Donny crossed his arms. "I'm afraid we can't just take your word for it. This is the second time you guys were thinking of leaving us."

Leo crossed his arms. "The first time, was decided for if you guys ever learned our secret and rejected us." He held out two fingers. "This time is because of how you feel around us. We know you guys love us and all that, but our lives aren't normal. Never again can it be normal. There's going to be challenges and disasters. Lots of disasters, but you guys need to accept us as we are.

We hope to regain everyone's trust, but we're going to burst with you guys babysitting us like this. You need to give us some leeway or it's going to get ugly. Trust me, it's a matter of time before April and Angel go nuts over this." He can see Donny struggling to give an answer. Leo hopped in the boat. "Let's call it a day and head home." They started the motor and went to shore.

Later at night, Donny was talking with the others while Leo's in his room. "Us give leeway. Like that's ever gonna happen anytime soon." Raph couldn't believe Leo would ask such a thing. "I know how you guys feel, but Leo has a point. I can tell he's getting close to having enough of us. The others too. April keeps glaring at everyone.

Angel makes steam come out more than usual. Gerry isn't as chipper as he should be." Raph crossed his arms. "They should've thought about it before wanting to run off into the sunset." Their father was getting some tea when he overheard his sons conversation. "My sons, I can't help but overhear your concerns about your brother and his friends."

Raph threw his hands up in exasperation. "We can't leave them alone to themselves father. They get into trouble, they destroy everything when something happens, and they want to run away every time things get tough." He joined them at the table. "From what Donatello has said. Leonardo and the others only want to leave in fear that we don't approve of them and their new lifestyles.

I too fear that they will just disappear on us. However, if we keep them in a tight hold like this, we can lose them for different reasons." They heard footsteps running hurriedly down the stairs. Leo ran into the living. "Guys! Venus and her family have returned! They want to meet us at the beach! C'mon!" "Hold on Leo! At least wait for us!" he was out the door. Raph made a gesture.

"This is what I'm talking about." When they caught up to him, they made their way to the beach. Everyone was there to greet the sea creatures. "Venus!" "Leo!" they hugged each other tightly. "I'm so glad you came back." "I'm glad too. I missed you guys, you especially Leo." when they pulled back, he noticed her eyes looked different. "What happened to your eyes?"

"It's a long story. I'll tell you when everything is settled okay?" he nodded at her but still felt that something is wrong. Instead of her usual charcoal colored eyes, she now has black eyes. Their friends and families were apologizing for their behavior towards them, they accepted their apologies but their demeanor is colder than usual towards them. Leo and the others were looking at each other in concern.

"Something has happened while they were away I just know it." Angel said. The others agreed. Before they could probe at the de Milo family, everyone led them into town to eat at an all you can eat buffet to celebrate their return. "We'll have to figure it out later by the looks of it." They went to eat and be merry feeling uncertain by the de Milo family's return.
