Turtle H2O 15

Leo's family were dumbstruck to see Leo having a tail instead of legs. "This is real right?" Donny broke the silence. After a second, Mikey spoke up. "Guys, this is what I saw that morning in the tub!" He touched it and it twitched. "Yup, definitely what I saw that morning." He said triumphantly. He knew he wasn't seeing things.

He and Donny were examining Leo's tail. Raph and Splinter just stared at the surreal sight. It was then Leo began waking up. He noticed his family was touching his tail. He freaked. Screaming trying to get out of the tub. Splashing water all over the place.

"Leo! It's okay! "Leonardo!" He was able to escape the tub. His family looked in wonder when Leo found a dry area and changed back to normal. Before they could do anything, they heard shrieking coming from the other side of the house.

They peeked out to see April running and grabbing her cell phone. With her dad coming after her. "April! Wait April!" She was gone with no indication of where she was heading. It was then all attention was on Leo. He ran in a panic to the kitchen, with everyone right behind him.

He held out his hands. "Don't come any closer!" His brothers stared at each other than back at Leo. They were all taking a couple of steps forward, when Leo bust the pipes and had water surrounding him. That stopped everyone in their tracks.

He released the water on them. Everyone was soaked from head to toe. Leo attempted to escape, only to have those darn sprinklers turn on. He changed back into a mer-turtle. At the same time his family came out. April's dad went to shut the water off. Leo faced them. He had water ready if they went any closer to him.

His father spoke to him. "Leonardo my son, please put the water down. We wish to know what is going on. We want to help you." Leo wasn't budging yet. "Help me? I'm stuck like this for the rest of my life. There's no helping me father." His brothers eyes widened. Leo has never talked like that to their dad before.

"You're going to send us to a lab aren't you? I refuse to be dissected!" His father's eyes widened at that. "No Leonardo. We are your family. We stick by each other no matter what. Please my son." Leo looked at his family and chose to believe in them. He put his hand down and the water was normal again.

They did a group hug with him. He stayed as a mer-turtle till the water was turned off completely. Leo was apologizing to his family for the way he acted. "We forgive you bro. You were just scared is all." His dad forgives him too, but he'll be grounded for causing a mess and soaking them.

They went back inside to talk. They sat down in the living. Leo began. "Well it's pretty obvious. Me, April, Angel, and Gerry are mermaids." Everyone was surprised by that. "Wait. All you guys are mermaids? How is this even possible?" Leo went to explain.

"Remember when me, April, and Angel went to Laired island?" They nodded at him. "Well, we fell into this cave. There's this body of water in there that connects to the ocean. It was nighttime, the full moon glowed when we were in the water. We've been like this ever since." He continues.

"With Gerry, he was swimming in a waterfall back in Ecuador. The moon also shined mysteriously. We can't use science to explain it or change back. It's just magic." Everyone were doing their best to soak all this in.

"So, that's why you've been acting weirder than normal?" Mikey asked. Leo nodded. His eyes shined. "You owe me an apology. " Leo was confused. "Huh? What for?" "For saying I just imagined seeing your tail. I knew I saw something blue in the shower that morning. "

Leo sighed. "Fine, sorry Mike. We just were afraid of anyone finding out our secret. April especially was afraid to be rejected and possibly experimented on." That's when they remembered about April leaving. "Speaking of April, can you tell us where she may have run off to?"

Leo tensed. His face turned to one of worry and panic. "Leonardo?" "Where's my daughter? Please tell me." Her dad sounded desperate. "She, she's probably gone into the ocean already. " "What?!" Mister O'Neil fell to his knees. "No. Not April please!" Leo put his hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry mister O'Neil. There's still a chance to find her." He looked hopeful at him. Leo was heading out the door. His brothers pile drived him. "Where do think you're going?" "Don't leave us Leo! We love you!" "Bro please." Leo did his best to pry them off. "Relax guys. I'm not leaving you.

April took her phone with her. She's called the others to let them know what happened. She was so freaked out; she didn't notice we were here. If our secret ever got out, our meeting place is Laired island. Then we will figure out what to do from there. I gotta hurry before I miss them." Before he could run out the door, Raph grabbed his wrist.

"We're going with you. Nothing you say will make us change our minds." Leo looked at everyone. "Alright. Let's go! Hurry!" Sometime later, Leo's family and mister O'Neil were in a rental boat on their way to Laired island. Leo chose to swim. He even pulled his brothers with the life saver for fun.

When they almost arrived at Laired island, Leo spotted Gerry swimming ahead of them. He made his way over to him. "Gerry!" He called out to him. Gerry heard him. "Leo! Thank goodness! We couldn't get a hold of you and no one was home. The girls are waiting at the hidden cave. We'll figure out what to do now that her dad knows."

Leo smiled at him. Gerry was confused. "Leo? Why are you smiling like that?" "We may not have to leave after all." He turned to the right and pointed. "Look." All Gerry could say was "whoa." The boat with Leo's family were getting closer to them.

Much to Gerry's surprise, another boat was also approaching. It had his family as well as Mona's family. Along with Angel's brother Ryan and Casey. Leo looked sheepish at him. "Sorry Gerry. My brothers insisted on calling everyone. Turns out Ryan was looking for Angel since yesterday evening. Your parents apparently knew about you being a mer-salamander.

The boat with his family was in front of them. His mom yelling at her son. "Gerardo Throkka! Get your tail in this boat this instant! You are so grounded for trying to leave us!" Gerry threw his hands up. "Mom! I wasn't planning on leaving you guys I swear! I was just going to see the others then go back home!" He jumped onto their boat. After 10 seconds, he was back to normal.

Once the shock wore off, Mona gave her cousin a big hug. He looked at his parents. "Mom, dad, why didn't you say anything if you knew?" His parents explained they saw him swimming as a mer-salamander one night while hiking. They decided it didn't matter what he is he's their son no matter what. They were just waiting for him to tell them himself.

They hugged him, relieved to see him okay and not running away from them. They finally arrived at Laired island. Leo and Gerry were gonna go alone but Ryan and mister O'Neil insisted on tagging along with them. After taking a deep breath, they escorted them to the hidden cave. When they surfaced, they found April and Angel waiting for Leo and Gerry. They were relieved to see their friends but panicked when they saw their family.

They ran to them and hugged them. "April! I'm so glad you're okay!" He was crying. April started crying. "But your face, when you saw me!" "I'm sorry my sweet. I was just surprised at first, but I would never reject you now that you're a mermaid. Please come home" They hugged tightly. "Love you dad" "Love you too April."

Leo smiled at the touching scene. That is until he heard Ryan and Angel arguing. "Are you crazy?! I'm the only family you got Angel!" "I don't want to be cut into ribbons!" "What kind of guy do you take me for!?" They argued a good five minutes then they hugged it out. With that, they decided to head home.

As they were swimming out, the water began to shake. Part of the cave was falling down. They swam as fast as they could. On the boats, everyone could see where the cave is collapsing. Much to their relief, the mermaids and family surfaced as the cave collapse finished. They were all on the boats hugging, feeling happy now that their friends and family's knows their secret. They sailed home, beginning their new lives without having to hide their new forms and abilities. They couldn't be happier.
