A couple of days after the funeral services for Lotus and her cousins, two homicide detectives are investigating the case. Their names are Leather head, a mutant alligator with yellow eyes. The other is slash, a mutant snapping turtle with green eyes.

They've interviewed quite a few people to see who would want to murder them. No one thought they had enemies that would harm them. It's then they learned that Leo went to the school dance with Lotus. He may have been the last person to see her and her cousins alive.

They headed to Leo's address, and knocked on the door. Leo's dad answered it. "Yes, how may I help you gentlemen?" Leather head pulled out his badge. "My name is detective Leather head, and this is detective Slash. We are investigating the deaths of Lotus Blossom and her cousins.

We believe your son Leonardo, may have been the last one to see them alive. We were hoping to speak to him." Splinter let them in and called Leo's name. When Leo walked downstairs, he saw the detectives. He became very nervous and scared but will do his best to stay calm. "Leonardo, these detectives would like to have a word with you." Leo nodded his head in understanding.

His brothers were eavesdropping with what's going on. They saw Splinter give the detectives water before questioning. Donny whispered to the others. "I never thought I'd see the day that Leo has to talk to the cops. It's so weird." The others agreed with him. Raph was the saddest of them.

It's Leo's turn to be cold with him. He refuses to talk to him about what happened that night. Now they'll finally learn what has happened. They began the interrogation.

"Leonardo, did you know Lotus Blossom?" "Yes, she was a classmate of mine." Slash was jotting notes on his paper pad. "Tell us about the last time you saw her." 'Here we go.' Leo thought. He took a deep breath.

"The truth is, I had a crush on her. I was going to ask her out, but one of my brothers embarrassed me in front of her. I didn't stand a chance afterwards." Raph looked down in shame. Leo continued. "Then my brother that embarrassed me was dating this girl, but she broke up with him.

It was because of the way he would treat others horribly. I included. He wanted to make it up to me and win her back so, he talked to Lotus and she became my date to the dance." They listened intently. "She agreed to go with you to the school dance?" Leo nodded his head sadly.

"Somehow, she said yes. We went to the dance together." Leather head asked for a time frame. "What time would you say you were at the dance?" Leo thought for a second. "If I remember correctly, we met there close to nine." That got the detectives attention.

They determined the time of death to be 10PM-midnight that night. "How long were you two at the dance?" Leo began blushing. "From what I can remember, we stayed at the dance for an hour at most. We both weren't having a good time. So, she asked me to see her out. That's when her cousins came out of nowhere. They grabbed me and locked me in the equipment shed."

Leo looked embarrassed. "I was locked in there all night long. No one heard me screaming for help till the morning." The police weren't expecting that kind of statement. "You were locked in an equipment shed for the night?"

He nodded his head, blushing again. "Why didn't you call somebody with your cell phone?" Leo explained he lost his phone when her cousins were dragging him to the shed. He hasn't found it ever since. It was true, he did lose his cell phone when he saw the full moon but won't tell them that.

"Who was it that found you if there isn't school on Saturdays?" Leo answered calmly. "My friend Angel Bridge, she had Saturday detention that day. My other friend April O'Neil was walking with her. I heard them outside and yelled for help. That's when they got the teacher and he opened the shed for me."

His dad confirmed that the teacher called him about finding his son. He wasn't home at night; they couldn't get a hold of him. It seemed like a fishy story to them. Not the best alibi, but they'll have to look more into it. They requested to see Leo's brother that arranged for them to go to the dance together.

Raph came downstairs to talk to them. He confirmed what Leo had said is true. He admitted to blackmailing her instead of speaking to her. "I swear I didn't kill anybody. I was at the dance with Mona till 1. I got home late and got grounded for it.

I never saw them leave; I was having too much fun I guess." He rubbed his neck sheepishly. His father looked disappointed that his son would do that to his other son. He turned to Leo. "I'm sorry Leo. I never meant for things to go so wrong with you.

I was being a horrible selfish jerk. I wasn't being a good brother to you. You don't have to believe me, but I feel really bad about what happened. If I hadn't said all that dorky stuff about you, maybe she would've given you a chance."

Leo wiped tears away. "I forgive you. Your my brother. I hope you can forgive me for punching you, and not talking to you, and." He was cut off with his dad clearing his throat. The looked sheepish at everyone else.

It was then they ended the interview but will keep in contact. After they left, Leo and Raph were grounded for their actions. Raph got a few extra weeks and Leo got extra chores. Leo figured its better than jail. At least he and Raph made up with each other.

With the detectives, they interviewed April, Angel, and Mona. Mona learned about the blackmailing and is upset with Raph again. April and Angel told them the alibi story that they practiced at the hidden cave with Leo.

They talked to the teacher that freed Leo that day. He confirmed that Leo was indeed trapped in the shed. There's no way out except the door. The door is locked on the outside only. Kids get pranked in there all the time.

The detectives even checked out the shed to be sure there's no way out. There's no proof that Leo could've committed the murders at the aquarium if he's trapped in the shed far away. With that they'll have to look for a new lead to follow.
