It's been a couple of months since Lotus and her cousins have been murdered. Leo is beyond relieved that the police bought his alibi. It's been agreed between the mermaids that they only speak about that night only in the hidden cave.

Before Mona could break up with Raph again, Leo spoke on his behalf and convinced her to stay dating him. All is peaceful again. Mona's cousin is even moving into town from being in Ecuador for a few months.

They want to move to be closer to Mona's family. The night before Leo and his brothers were to meet her cousin, Leo was walking home from a later swim with Angel. April was on a date with Casey. While walking home, he heard a mystifying sound.

After hearing it for a couple of minutes, he recognized it. It's a sirens voice. After his first full moon, he kept his sirens voice. He can use it whenever he wanted. He would practice it underwater. It's the first time he's heard a sirens voice other than his own.

This means there's a new mermaid in town. It couldn't be April or Angel. They never inherited sirens voice with their powers. Leo noticed the singing voice is deeper than his. Leo is a tenor; this voice sounds more baritone. That shows it's a guy mermaid.

Out of curiosity, Leo began to sing with his sirens voice. After a minute of silence, the mystery mermaid began singing again. They were singing a duet together. It sounded like the voice is getting closer. Leo decided to head towards the voice. After some time of walking and singing, he saw a figure.

The figure spotted him. The figure is a mutant salamander. They both stopped singing. They stared at each other in wonder and curiosity. Before either of them could say or do anything, Leo's new cell phone rang.

The mutant salamander ran away spooked. "Wait!" Leo called out to him, but he was long gone. Sighing in frustration, he answered his phone. "Hello? Hi Donny. I'm almost home, don't worry. I'm near valley street. I'll be there in 15 minutes. See you at home, bye." He hung up.

Checking one more time to see if he ever came back. He left with no such luck. The next day, Leo called to inform the others about the new mermaid. They were surprised by the news. Angel became excited. "Wow, another mermaid. He's a male like you. We have to find him. I wanna meet him." Leo and April agreed about meeting him.

It would be nice to make a new friend that happens to be a mermaid too. With that, it's decided that April will check in the wooded area where bodies of water are. Angel will look around town. Since Leo is already going to the beach, he'll keep an eye out over there.

They went their separate ways to search for him. While the girls were doing their searches, Leo was at the beach with his brothers. They were going to finally meet Mona's cousin. They asked Leo to get everyone drinks. Leo obliged. He looked around for any sign of the mermaid while waiting in line at the concession stand.

His brothers sent him to get drinks so Raph could meet Mona's cousin before Leo does. Leo gets along with all of Mona's family, even her dad who's very protective of his daughter. Raph has yet to meet him and hopes if he makes a good impression with her cousin, that her dad will like and trust him more.

While Leo were getting drinks, his brothers saw Mona with a mutant salamander with her. He has green teal skin and honey colored eyes. She said he's a year older than her. She smiled when she saw them. She was confused when she noticed Leo wasn't with them.

"Hey guys. Where's Leo?" They explained he's getting everyone drinks. She smiled relieved he didn't ditch them. "This is my cousin Gerardo Throkka." He shook hands with them. "Nice to meet you guys. You can just call me Gerry. It's easier and shorter to say."

"This is my boyfriend Raph." She held hands with him. He smiled at her. "These are his brothers Donny and Mikey. Leo is the one getting drinks." They were getting acquainted. Much to Raph's delight, he and Gerry were getting along great.

Before they could ask him about Ecuador, Leo arrived with the drinks. "Sorry it took so long; it was a super long line." "Leo, glad to see you." Mona was happy to see him. Everyone grabbed their drinks. Once Leo could finally see properly, he locked eyes with Gerry.

They were beyond shocked. "Leo, this is my cousin Gerardo. He likes to go by Gerry." They stared at each other in bewilderment. That concerned everyone. "You guys okay?" Leo was the first one to finally speak. "Were you the salamander from last night?"

Gerry's only reply was, "Your that turtle." Everyone was confused. "Wait a minute. You guys know each other?" Raph couldn't believe that Leo met him before the rest of them did. They answered cautiously. "We bumped into each other last night on my way home."

Gerry confirmed. "Yeah, I was on my way to the beach when I saw him. We didn't really talk much though." He held out his hand. "I'm Gerry. " Leo held out his hand. "Leo." They shook hands awkwardly.
