After Leo and Gerry introduced themselves, they spent some time with their family. Leo and Gerry wanted to talk about being mermaids, but their family kept hovering over them. They instead, talked about what hobbies they like and other stuff.

It turns out they have a few common interests. Finally, it was time to head home. While the others were saying goodbye to Mona, Gerry pulled Leo to the side to talk really quick. "Meet me at Eastman lake, to talk about you know what."

Leo agreed to meet him. "On one condition though. My friends want to meet you. They are mermaids too. No need to worry." It's decided to meet around 11am the next day. It was then their families called out to them.

They said their goodbyes for the day. "What were you guys talking about just now?" Donny asked Leo as they were walking home. Leo answered calmly. "Gerry wants to hang out tomorrow. April and Angel are tagging along. They're dying to meet him."

His brothers became curious. "It looked like you guys were hiding something to me." Of course, Raph would stick his nose where it doesn't belong. "Are you jealous because Mona's cousin wants to hang out with me?" He changed the subject. It worked. He took the bait.

"What?! No! You go ahead and hang out. He's a nice guy, but just as dorky as you are." Leo smiled at that. "Besides." He looked to him. "You need more guy friends to hang out with you. April and Angel are obviously rubbing off on you."

Leo blushed at that. "What's that supposed to mean?!" His brothers laughed at him. "Guys!" He whined at them. The next day, Leo was on his way with the girls to meet Gerry. Leo called them to say he found the mermaid but it's Mona's cousin. That was a twist they never saw coming.

They met up and headed to Eastman lake. They found Gerry there waiting for them. Leo introduced them. "Gerry, these are my friends April and Angel. Guys, this is Gerry, Mona's cousin." They shook hands. "So, you're a man siren like Leo?" Angel couldn't help asking.

April nudged her. "What? I'm just wondering. Why are the guys the ones with deadly singing voices and not us girls?" Gerry couldn't help but laugh. "I wouldn't get too jealous about that. It comes in handy if you want a date, but they are like zombies. It's no fun. Besides, I only got a sirens voice from staring at the full moon."

His smile dropped. He looked down in shame. "I've killed a few people that night." His eyes began to water with his memories flooding through him. Leo put his hand on his shoulder. He said the same happened to him, but he hasn't killed anyone with his sirens voice. But he has killed, he too was on the verge of crying.

They wiped their eyes and found comfort that they aren't alone with what they've done. Gerry is relieved to finally have someone to talk to. He's had to deal with all this by himself up till now. After that, they decided to go swim to the boulder in the middle of the lake to continue their conversation.

Once in the water, Gerry is intrigued with the others. Leo and the others were in awe with Gerry. He is indeed a mer-salamander. Like Leo, his upper body is the same, but he has a silver colored tail. Once at the boulder, Gerry explains that his parents were in Ecuador for his parents to study the wildlife there.

Gerry didn't have very many friends and would go hiking a lot over there. One night, he came across a waterfall and decided to go for a swim. The moon glowed mysteriously while he was swimming in there. Ever since then, he's been a mer-salamander.

"I've never told a soul about my transformation. I never met any other mermaids neither. That's when I heard you singing Leo. I got so excited to know I'm not the only one. I can finally make friends that will except me for what I am." The others were mind blown from Gerry's story. They gladly excepted him into their circle of friends.

The rest of their time at the lake had them demonstrating each other's abilities. Gerry can turn water into a gel substance. He and Leo even sang another duet together with their sirens voices. Luckily, April and Angel were immune to the sirens voices due to being mermaids themselves. Angel even begged for April to make popsicles and Gerry make jello for them.

When they finally gave in she squealed in delight. "Is she always like this?" April palm faced herself. "I'm afraid so." After heading into town to get the items necessary. April and Gerry used their powers to make the popsicles and jello.

Angel gladly ate her share. Everyone else ate theirs. It was delicious. Things were going to be more interesting now that they got a new mermaid friend with them. From here on out he and Leo became best buds.
