Sometime after their first full moon, Leo's brother Raph, has officially asked Mona to date him. At the same time, April has been asked out by their human friend Casey Jones. April was hesitant at first, due to her being a mermaid, but in the end she said yes.

It was decided to go on a double date Friday night with Raph and Mona. The young mermaids were at April's house, trying to help her pick an outfit for her date.

"Please tell me why I'm helping? Shouldn't this be a girl thing? Besides, I have horrible taste when it comes to clothes." Leo complained. He's uncomfortable with this.

This is an example of why his brothers tease him. Since he doesn't hang out with guys much, he's seen as one of the girls. Angel huffed at him. Leo sighed deeply before keeping silent.

April came out of her changing station, wearing a nice purple blouse and khaki pants. Angel tapped her chin in thought. "It's nice but the blouse shows a little too much bosom. Don't want him getting touchy with you."

She looked towards Leo. She noticed he was staring intently at her. He blushed and looked away shyly. He's still a guy after all. That was all she needed to decide on a different outfit. Her next choice is a sun dress, but it looked too fancy for a first date.

Her third pick is a nice yellow top, not too revealing but appealing. A pair of jeans were perfect to complete the look. Angel squealed in excitement for her friend. Leo even gave her a thumbs up and a genuine smile.

After the outfit, it was time for makeup and hair. It was decided on a natural look with a touch of lip gloss, and a nice ponytail. Afterwards, Leo asked what her plan is for staying dry. April and the others are going to eat at a seafood restaurant.

She requested they sit away from any source of water. In case there's water being served; she'll be on high alert. They heard the doorbell ring. To their surprise it was Mona carrying a duffel bag. She looked shyly at them.

"Hi, sorry to bother you guys. I was hoping you could help me pick an outfit for our date. I want to impress Raph." April and Angel gladly let her in to help out. Leo attempted to sneak out the door, but Angel caught him. She was dragging him back inside.

"Oh no you don't! You are helping us find Mona the perfect outfit. Since you may know what your brother may like will be helpful to us." He sighed frustrated. With that, he was dragged upstairs to join them.

Friday night came, Leo and his brothers saw Raph wearing a casual red t-shirt with a jean jacket covering it and jean pants as well. Mikey whistled. "Looking good there Raphie boy." Raph smiled big.

Their father entered to give his son some parental guidance. "Raphael, remember to treat miss Mona with all respect and courtesy." "Yes father." Raph tried to run out in excitement but his father wasn't finished.

"You must be a gentleman." "Yes father." "No getting into fights." "Yes father." " Don't let jealousy get the better of you." His eye began to twitch. Leo and the others were snickering, trying not to laugh too loud.

Raph was finally free to go. Before he could open the door though, his father said one last thing. "Raphael, be sure to use protection I do not wish to become a grandfather as of yet." "Dad!" He was very embarrassed by now. Finally, he headed to his double date.

At the restaurant, Raph's friend Casey is wearing jeans too with a white muscle shirt with a plaid shirt covering it. When they saw their dates, they were in awe by them. April looked great in the outfit that Leo and mostly Angel helped her pick out.

Mona looked lovely in a nice pink tank top with a black sweater and a black skirt. After they picked their jaws up, they complimented the girls before heading inside. The date is going very well.

No sign of water spilling yet. Raph once again complimented Mona's outfit. "Thanks. Leo and the girls helped me pick it out." April froze upon hearing that. Raph didn't seem to like how close Mona and Leo are at times.

April tried to ease the tension. "Well, technically Leo wanted to leave and have it as girls only. But you know how Angel can be. She loves to boss and drag people into things." That seemed to calm Raph. Knowing Leo doesn't want to interfere with him and Mona.

When it seemed peaceful again, April heard weird sounds coming from the kitchen. Casey noticed her staring at the kitchen. He asked if she's okay. She turned to see everyone looking worried at her.

"I'm fine. Just thought I heard something weird in the kitchen is all." She tried to ignore it during the rest of her meal, but she couldn't stand it any longer. She excused herself for a moment. The others were freaking out when she headed to the kitchen.

"April wait! You can't go in there!" Mona tried to persuade April to return to the table, but she wasn't listening. She peeked through the door. She gasped. There were lobsters and crabs in their tank waiting to be cooked. There were others about to be boiled alive.

She took slight pity on them. With her powers, she froze the water in the tank as well as the boiling water on the stoves. It's to prolong them from getting eaten. The staff were baffled to see the water frozen in place instead of boiling.

The flame was put out in the process. When they would reach into the tank, only the top part was frozen to keep them from grabbing the crustaceans. Nodding her head in satisfaction, returned to her table. She was relieved to not hear the sounds for the rest of her dinner.

After a first successful double date, they will go on separate dates from here on out. Raph went home after walking Mona home first. He found his family waiting for him. Waiting with anticipation on how his date went. April sighed in relief when she made it home. She couldn't wait to tell her friends everything on their next swim.
