A dark skinned woman stands before a silhouette in the Shadow Realm. Her demeanor is nervous though she tries to hide it, her fingers twitch in anticipation and fear.
"Lady Death," she manages to greet her mistress, "To what do I owe the absolute pleasure?"
"Have you heard the news of the Shadow Walker?" Lady Death questions.
"Yes, of course. I heard of her betrayal."
"Then you know that it is time," Lady Death says, "Time for you to take over the mantle of the Leader of The Shadow's Children."
"I am ready?" the woman questions unsurely.
"Of course, she trained you herself," Lady Death says, and it almost sounds like praise for the traitor. "Now, have you chosen your title?"
"Yes Mistress," she confirms, "I shall be the Silhouette."
"Silhouette," Lady Death tests, "That shall do nicely. And if you ever happen to see the Shadow Walker? Be sure to put an Illumination Dagger through her heart."
"Of course Mistress," Silhouette agrees.
Silhouette shall return in Maddidottir: The Shadow Realm.
