A boy fell through the cracks of the void, flying through dimensions and universes. The only thing keeping him safe is the temporary dimensional barrier his original set up, and it wasn't going to last long. However, it was definitely going to hold out until he gets there.
At least he has faith in himself.
This was the first successful trial, which was actually number 700 something. The clones that were sent before all encountered 'issues', which obliterated them due to what the original called undiscovered dimensional laws, forbidding them to cross through. As compensation for any possible torture or sadness that the clones might face, the original will swap the bodies' consciousness, only to return right before any incident.
This Act, also known as the Zero Clone Abuse Law, was enacted by the original himself. It was until the 500th trial that they discovered a special glitch in the matrix: a way to send the clone back through multiple dimensions and reunite with the original should any incident occur.
Now, why didn't the original send himself, you might ask?
That's because Y/N L/N wouldn't send himself to a hellhole before knowing how to get back or what's in there.
This current clone, also known as Y/N 00742, codenamed 'Ichi', was the first to successfully travel through the dimensional hopper device his original and the so-called Witch of Vainglory created together. It involved an extraordinary amount of science and magic to get the thing working, and even his contractor, the Witch of Greed Echidna, suffered from a mental breakdown somewhere in the middle of the construction period.
However, it was done now, and it sits in the laboratory of the great floating city, Laputum.
And now, the first Outerworldly Travel System was complete, with Y/N Ichi serving as its subject numero uno.
The world he was about to be sent into is called Konosuba, and from the memories of the original, it seemed like a much more optimistic and happy world compared to the constant and tragic deaths of Re:Zero. The world itself didn't look like it needed much saving, so it's better to focus on the people instead.
Ah, yes, he could certainly save Kazuma's debts caused by Aqua and various other horrible mistakes.
Predicting enemy attacks from the Demon King, the Destroyer, and other pesky people could prove useful as well.
Hmm.
Y/N Ichi looked down at his pendant, a completely different one from the one the original wore. It was not the black pendant that proved his contract to the Witch of Greed, but rather, a storage of his powers from the world of Re:Zero. Since Od Laguna and the Witch Factors could not exist as they naturally do back in that world, they had to make a substitute.
This thing is definitely the most advanced piece of technology that was ever made, if you take out the fact that the Dimensional Transporter existed.
The ultimate device that was made through the combined efforts of the remaining Witches of Sin, the Divine Dragon Volcanica, Black Dragon Valgren, and Y/N L/N himself.
It was known as the Deep Core Compass.
A mysterious device that was able to convert different types of energy into matter and other energies, including magic to ki, aether, telesma, etc. The amazing function allows it to store more than one power from the worlds travelled, and is able to replicate itself when the duty of one world is finished. It will also be able to replicate any new types of energy in another world, as long as the nucleus of the mechanism, the Singularitum is intact.
Smiling, Y/N Ichi, or the new Y/N L/N in this world, decided to open 'Pandora's Box'. And thus, the power of the ten witch factors stemmed into his body from the device, filling him with power and adrenaline.
"Hahahahahahahaha!"
"Let's begin, this new journey, shall we?"
"I won't let you down, original, since I'm you, after all! This time, the succession is right ahead, and I'll do whatever I can to accomplish our Final Goal!"
The Outerworlder, Y/N L/N, crashed into the domain of the gods, and descended upon the new world, where his destination and purpose lies.
World 1: Konosuba.

Deep Core Compass State: 100% Stability, Endurance. Zero damage detected.

Hi hi! This is the author, CDS0407 speaking!
The prologue is officially done, and I'll be releasing a bio chapter to let you guys in on a sneak peek of what Y/N is capable of once he enters Konosuba! Mind you, the original Y/N does not completely possess all of the powers, which includes the Authorities of Lust, Envy, and Vainglory.
This book will start with Arc 0, a background of what happened to get into the Konosuba multiverse in the first place. It will include around 2 to 3 chapters, and the events are set after Arc 12 of Re:Periodic, which is my last arc after the main storyline's Arc 11, and will probably not be written until after the official Re:Zero ends. Who knows? Maybe I'll write it early, but the chances of that happening are low.
Again, we're starting the frequent updates officially on August 1st. I'll be uploading this around once per two weeks like BooksLored-san does, and it'll also go into hiatus mode after Re:Periodic does too. And just like Re:Periodic, it'll return on the second week of May.
