Y/N POV
I didn't see Yunyun again after our initial encounter. I figured it was probably due to her shyness that she hid herself from everyone, or simply because she was afraid to challenge Megumin.
Either way, I decided that she would be fine on her either way, since most crimson demons (excluding Megumin) can put up a good fight on their own. Their mastery with magic is unlike any other, possibly due to their genes that the 'Creator' gave them. A/N: Creator is that old man who made a bunch of stuff.
I went mapping out the area around Axel yesterday, and I heard that while I was away, the party accepted some kind of exorcism quest that had to do with something with trapped souls? Anyways, they were going to meet their employer from last time, so I figured I should tag along too this time for good measure.
After meeting up with the rest of the team at the adventurer's guild, we set off into the city and eventually arrived at an alleyway where I noticed the sign that explained everything: Wiz's Magic Item Shop.
Wiz... a Demon King General with immense power but doesn't show it. She could easily defeat Hans, Silvia, and even Verdia. Back in her adventuring days, she was known as the Witch of Ice, and her party was actually renowned in Belzerg. As to why she eventually became a lich... we'll leave that story to another time.
"AH! It's you, you damned undead!" Aqua immediately left Kazuma's side and grabbed Wiz's collar. "You dared open up a shop here?! I'll burn this place to the ground in the name of heaven-"
A loud clang sounded as Kazuma slammed his sword down on Aqua's head, stopping her harassment acts on Wiz.
"Hello, Wiz!" Kazuma greeted the well-endowed woman as we entered, a smile forming on her face.
"Ah, Kazuma-san. Is this your friend you brought with you?"
"Yes, indeed. Greetings, Wiz the Shopkeeper. My name is Y/N L/N, an adventurer and co-leader of Kazuma's party. I apologize for Aqua's behaviour... she does this a lot to undeads." I extended my hand for a shake, and she smiled again before taking my hand and shook it well before introducing herself as well.
She poured us some tea as we sat down, and even Aqua admitted the amazing taste of the beverage.
"To be honest, I came here since I wondered if you could teach me a skill of yours." Kazuma said sincerely, but Aqua spat out her tea immediately upon hearing that statement.
"Oi! Kazuma, as a goddess's attendant, you cannot carelessly go and learn an undead's skill! I will not allow it! I will definitely not allow it!"
"Goddess...?" Wiz said as she realized what Aqua said. Hearing this, the blue-haired goddess of water stood up and stroke a pose as Kazuma and I facepalmed ourselves.
"That's right! I am the Goddess of Water, Aqua, worshipped by the massive religious Axis Cult!"
Wiz immediately shrank back in fear upon hearing her name. "People from the Axis Cult are always considered crazy in many ways, so when I heard she was the one they worship..."
Aqua's smile of confidence immediately twisted into one of sadness and anger as she lunged at Wiz again and started tugging on Wiz's clothes. We decided to let Aqua have her wrath this time, and eventually, she was focused on some perfumes.
"By the way, I heard you two defeated Verdia-san." Wiz noted. "His skill with the sword was supposed to be quite impressive, even among the other leaders. And I see you have his sword on you now." Wiz nodded to the sky blue greatsword on my back.
"You sound like as if you knew him." Kazuma said, a bit suspicious.
"Oh. That's because I'm indeed one of the eight Devil King's Generals." Wiz said with the most innocent smile ever, but that did not stop Aqua from pinning her down. Wiz, I don't think you should say that so carelessly.
