{6}- Toad Hunting | Chuunibyou Explosion Girl

"My name is Megumin! My calling is that of an arch wizard, specializing in explosion magic, the strongest of all offensive magic!" The girl declared as her cape gave a dramatic fluttering effect, and the three of us looked at her with confusion.

"Say what now??"

Cut to one day before this...

"Snipe!" I shot a flaming arrow straight into the nape of a frog, and it set the frog aflame on contact after Kazuma dumped oil on the beast's body.

However, this only attracted more frogs, and Kazuma who was playing offense was getting chased by yet another toad.

"Aqua! Help me!!" Kazuma yelled at the Water Goddess, who simply snickered and started laughing at him.

"Pfft! Maybe you should start adding -san to the end of my name would I then help you!"

"AQUA-SAMA!!!" Kazuma yelled once again as the frog continued chasing him, until I sniped that one on the head with an arrow, stunning it while Kazuma slashed at it. With that, two toads were down.

"You should really help him, Aqua, use Blessing or something. Aren't you supposed to be a very capable arch-priest?"

"But Y/N! That annoying hiki-NEET dragged me down to this world without a care in the world so why should I help him now?"

"If we finish this faster we can all get the money faster."

"But..." Aqua suddenly entered some kind of dilemma regarding what to do, and I spotted another danger behind her.

"Uh... Aqua, you might want to watch out-"

"Hm?" Before I could finish my sentence, Aqua was chomped and devoured by a frog, who began to eat her as I sighed in exasperation. Taking this chance, Kazuma cut down the frog in three clean blows before he let out a gasp and pulled Aqua out of the frog's mouth.

"Waaaaah!!! Kazuma, I've been defiled!" Aqua whined as she inched closer towards him, while Kazuma shrunk away from the slime-covered goddess immediately in disgust. 

"Let's go get you into a bath, come on..." I sighed before I dumped Aqua into a wagon of sorts and allowed it to roll downhill, back through the gates of Axel. Taking this time to do a little running exercise, I left Aqua to Kazuma while I went to check up on my Auto-farm tower, which was still there.

Well, no need for any EXP so far, but...

Anyways, here we are.

Where our archwizard chunnibyou girl, Megumin, enters the stage.

And the scene is exactly as I remembered it.

"My name is Megumin! My calling is that of an arch wizard, specializing in explosion magic, the strongest of all offensive magic!"

Stare....

"Um..." Kazuma looked at the girl in pseudo-shock, not knowing how to response to an actual Chuuni.

"Do you too, desire my forbidden strength, which is so almighty, that I've been ostracized by the world?"

"Huh?" Kazuma suddenly seemed to have realize what was happening here, and gave me a look that said 'I don't get paid enough for this shit'. Meanwhile, Megumin continued her grand speech.
